Yira Sor: SK Slavia Praha Officially Announces The Nigeria Speedster Departure

Czech topflight league outfit, Sportovní klub Slavia Praha – fotbal has confirmed the departure of it’s Nigerian star, Collins Yira Sor to the Belgian top-flight to team up with high ranking Belgian Jupiler league giants, Koninklijke Racing Club Genk.

The Prague based side made this known through it’s Social media handles where the announced the speedster move to Koninklijke Racing Club Genk.

“Nigerian striker Yira Sor transfer to KRC Genk after a year in a stitched Jersey, currently the best squad of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. All the necessary documents were signed on Friday. Thank you and good luck Yira in his new engagement” the club tweet read.

Born on Jul 24, 2000, 22-year-old Yira Collins Sor started his professional football career with Lagos based Academy side, 36 Lions.

After an exciting development stage with 36 Lions, the highly rated speedster proceeded to team up with Czech based side, Banik Ostrava from where he caught the eye of National team selectors and featured for the Nigeria U-20 team in the world cup.

After a decent outing in the World Cup, Yira Collins Sor teamed up with Czech topflight league giants, Sportovní klub Slavia Praha where he carved a niche for himself with handful of goals and assists to his name

    Nigerian defender, Ohale Osinachi, has sent strong warnings to South Africa ahead of the Women’s Olympic FIFA World Cup play-off against South Africa later this month as she expertly commanded C.F. Pachuca Femenil backline to clinch a 4-0 win against Santos Laguna (w) on a clean-sheet in one of the fixtures played in the Mexican Femenil earlier today.

    The Super Falcons are set to take on South Africa in a two-match series, with the initial encounter slated for April 5 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

    The return leg is slated for April 9 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

    The winner of the tie will clinch one of Africa’s two tickets to the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.

    Ohale who joined Pachuca Femenil at the beginning of the year has continued to stamp authority in the heart of Pachuca Femenil with handful of clean sheets under her belt.
