We’re ready for Super Six – Apreala

Players and officials of Bayelsa Queens Football Club, the Prosperity Girls, will leave for Asaba, the Delta State capital tomorrow 4th June, 2023, where the NWFL Premiership Super Six will be played, with a promise not to let Bayelsans down.

The Prosperity Girls, last season Champions, qualified for the Super Six by placing second in Group A of the regular NWFL Premiership season winning their last game at home three-nil against Naija Ratels.

Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, Chairman Bayelsa Queens FC said that the players are in good spirit, and are waiting anxiously to shoot down any team that comes their way.

“The players by the Grace of God are good and ready for the Super Six clash against any team and the FA Cup final match against Rivers Angels. The players have vowed not to let Bayelsas down,” Pastor Apreala said.

The soft spoken Amassoma born sports administrator also thanked the Governor Douye Diri and his deputy Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo , for the support the State Government has given to the club both financially and morally.

He also gave kudos to the Commissioner for Sports, Champion Baraladei Daniel Igali, for the fatherly role he has played in the team and promised not to let them down.
