Nigerian players didn’t disappoint as they showed up big with their various Clubside with outstanding displays in their ranks and below is as general review of outstanding Nigerian players who were fortunate to find back of the net.

CAF Confederation Cup: Ajako James Late Goal Save Fath Union Sport From Home Defeat

Nigerian defender, James Ajako, opened his goal account in the colours of Moroccan side, Fath Union Sport as he came through with the team only to salvage a point for Fath Union Sport against Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Moroccan top-flight league giants, Fath Union Sport, eyed a positive start in the new CAF Confederation Cup group campaign when they take on Algerian top-flight league giants, Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger.

Algiers based side, Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger, had their hands full in its first game of the campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup haven been faced to lock horns with Fath Union Sport.

First half of the game almost ended in a stalemate not for Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger defender, Zineddine Belaid who fired in the opener at the 45th minute.

Ahead upon restart, Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger held on to it’s lead but failed to be solid behind as they got punish as high flying Nigerian defender, James Ajako, surged forward to poke in an equaliser for Fath Union Sport to bring final scoreline to 1-1 at full time.

Peter Michael: Red-hot Nigerian Striker Wins Man Of The Match In VPS Victory Over Honka

Nigerian Striker, Peter Godly Michael has been voted as the Man Of The Match following his outstanding performances in Vaasan Palloseura 0-3 win over Honka.

The Nigerian international was unanimously selected for the MOTM award following his contribution and goal which inspired the team to a big win away from home.

Ranking as Vaasan Palloseura most in-form striker as he always come through with goals when mattered most.

Peter Godly Michael and his Vaasan Palloseura team pulled up for its game against Honka hoping to cart away all maximum points at stake when they face Honka.

Honka who hasn’t been in its best form had their hands full in its Championship play-off been tied to face in-form Vaasan Palloseura .

Vaasan Palloseura went infront with just 37th minute into the game as it’s Ghanaian star, Prosper Ahiabu converted inside the box, a goal which ushered in a double with Nigerian striker, Peter Godly Michael to end the half on a 0-2 lead.

On re-emergence, Vaasan Palloseura completed the third to stretch the game outta sight for the host to bring the final score line to 0-3

With the win Vaasan Palloseura moved to the 3rd place on the log with 42 points whilst Honka remained pinned on 5th position on a 38 points

Goal scoring Nigerian forward, Abdullahi Tanko continued with his goal scoring business in the Czech Fortuna Liga as he recorded his 4th goal of the season In Banik Ostrava 5-1 defeat of FC Zlin at the Městský stadion (Ostrava).

To sustain the momentum and to convince its newly found form is never a fluke, Banik Ostrava had FC Zlin to battle on Matchday 9 as they eye improving its spot on the log.
