Actions resumed across European and Scandevian leagues as teams continue their quest for domestic glory in their various league and cup Games.

Nigerian players didn’t disappoint as they showed up big with their various Clubside with outstanding displays in their ranks and below is as general review of outstanding Nigerian players who were fortunate to find back of the net.

1. Odion Ighalo (Al Hilal, Saudi Arabia)
Ighalo secured final tickets for Al Hilal in the Asian cup scoring four times in the semi-finals.

2. Peter Olayinka (Slavia Praha, Czech Republic)
Olayinka Peter grabbed as brace as Slavia Praha cruised to a 2-0 home win.

3. Oguns Ade (Caracas Futbol, Venezuela)
Oguns opened scoring for Caracas Futbol Klubu in their 2-0 win away from home.

4. Olarenwaju Kayode (Ümraniyespor, Turkey)
Kayode was a super Sun as he came off the bench to net goal to help salvage point for Ümraniyespor.

5. Abdulrahman Taiwo (Spartak Trnava, Slovakia)
Another game, Another goal, Nigerian striker Taiwo got on the scoresheet to help Spartak Trnava claim a win against Trenčín in, his 5th goal of the season.

6. Victor Osimhen (Napoli, Italy)
Osimhen added to his goal tally as Napoli cruised to another big win.

7. Obinna Nwobodo (Cincinnati, USA)
Obinna scored on league new season as his cruised to 2-1 home win.

8. Ifeagwu Ojukwu (Chittagong, Bangladesh)
Former Remo Stars striker Ojukwu scored his side only goal in their 1-1 stalemate against Bangladesh Police

9. Victor Boniface (Union Royale, Belgium)
Victor added to his goal tally in Union Royale disappointing result away from home.

10. Moses Ebiye (Aalesund, Norway)
Profilic Nigerian international Ebiye showed up big for Aalesund in a club friendly, scoring twice.

11. Elvis Isaac (Dubnica, Slovakia)
Unheralded Nigerian youngster, Isaac scored twice in Dubnica disappointing home defeat.

12. Terem Moffi (Nice, France)
Moffi opened his goal account in Nice as he scored twice to help Nice record a big win away from home against Monaco.

13.Louis Ogana (Deccan Football Club, India)
Ogana climbed off the bench to net a goal in his side disappointing loss.

CAF Confederation Cup: Ajako James Late Goal Save Fath Union Sport From Home Defeat



Nigerian defender, James Ajako, opened his goal account in the colours of Moroccan side, Fath Union Sport as he came through with the team only to salvage a point for Fath Union Sport against Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Moroccan top-flight league giants, Fath Union Sport, eyed a positive start in the new CAF Confederation Cup group campaign when they take on Algerian top-flight league giants, Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger.

Algiers based side, Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger, had their hands full in its first game of the campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup haven been faced to lock horns with Fath Union Sport.

First half of the game almost ended in a stalemate not for Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger defender, Zineddine Belaid who fired in the opener at the 45th minute.

Ahead upon restart, Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger held on to it’s lead but failed to be solid behind as they got punish as high flying Nigerian defender, James Ajako, surged forward to poke in an equaliser for Fath Union Sport to bring final scoreline to 1-1 at full time.

Peter Michael: Red-hot Nigerian Striker Wins Man Of The Match In VPS Victory Over Honka



Nigerian Striker, Peter Godly Michael has been voted as the Man Of The Match following his outstanding performances in Vaasan Palloseura 0-3 win over Honka.

The Nigerian international was unanimously selected for the MOTM award following his contribution and goal which inspired the team to a big win away from home.

Ranking as Vaasan Palloseura most in-form striker as he always come through with goals when mattered most.

Peter Godly Michael and his Vaasan Palloseura team pulled up for its game against Honka hoping to cart away all maximum points at stake when they face Honka.

Honka who hasn’t been in its best form had their hands full in its Championship play-off been tied to face in-form Vaasan Palloseura .

Vaasan Palloseura went infront with just 37th minute into the game as it’s Ghanaian star, Prosper Ahiabu converted inside the box, a goal which ushered in a double with Nigerian striker, Peter Godly Michael to end the half on a 0-2 lead.

On re-emergence, Vaasan Palloseura completed the third to stretch the game outta sight for the host to bring the final score line to 0-3

With the win Vaasan Palloseura moved to the 3rd place on the log with 42 points whilst Honka remained pinned on 5th position on a 38 points

Abdullahi Tanko: Nigerian Forward Scores In FC Baník Ostrava Eight-Goal Thriller Win



Goal scoring Nigerian forward, Abdullahi Tanko continued with his goal scoring business in the Czech Fortuna Liga as he recorded his 4th goal of the season In Banik Ostrava 5-1 defeat of FC Zlin at the Městský stadion (Ostrava).

To sustain the momentum and to convince its newly found form is never a fluke, Banik Ostrava had FC Zlin to battle on Matchday 9 as they eye improving its spot on the log.

Beaten mercilessly in its last (2) games, FC Zlin hoped earnestly for a change in fortune starting from its Matchday 9 tie against FC Banik Ostrava at their Městský stadion (Ostrava) fortress.

First half of the fixture had the two sides sizeing each other before settling for a goal apiece after the first 45th minute.

It rained goals for FC Banik Ostrava on restart as they took lead at the 50th minute off the boot of Kubala.F.
