Done Deal: Red-hot Abdullahi Tanko Joins FC Baník Ostrava

Czech Republic elite league giants, FC Baník Ostrava have completed the transfer of red-hot Nigerian striker,Abdullahi Tanko, from Czech second tier side FK Varnsdorf.

Unarguably one of Nigeria most in-form and consistent strikers in Europe, the goal poacher was handful for and secret behind FK Varnsdorf success in the campaign scoring a total of (15) goals to emerge third scorer in the league.

Born on May 12, 1998, Abdullahi Tanko started his professional football career with Nigerian based side, Team360 before leaving for Portugal.

After stints with some Portuguese based sides, Abdoullahi Tanko landed in Czech Republic where he joined FK Varnsdorf.

After an outstanding season in the club, FK Varnsdorf, the highly rated Nigeria striker would be teaming up with fellow Compatriot, Tijani in his new home FC Baník Ostrava.
