Official: Nigeria Scoring Sensation Akere Samuel Extends Botev Plovdiv Contract

Highly rated Nigeria star player, Akere Samuel, has earned contract extension with Bulgarian top flight league giants, Botev Plovdiv, which will see him in the club till 2025/2026 season.

Arriving from FDC vista in 2021, the former Nigeria Under-17 star has continued to make positive statements in the colours of prestigious side, Botev Plovdiv, with his back to back impressive performances.

Born February 6th, 2024, 19-year-old Samuel Akere started his development with Nigeria based talent hun, G12 Academy from where he showed glimpse of greatness.

Following his sound development and displays in the colours of G12 Football Academy, Akere caught the eyes of National team selectors which landed him into the Nigeria Under-17 team.

Following an impressive performance with the Nigeria Golden Eaglet, Akere who topped radar of top club sides went ahead to team up with Russian based side, FDC Vista, in 2021 to continue his development.

Following his exceptional performance in the 2023 Swedish Ettan Fotbollbb season, Nigerian striker John Junior Igbarumah has officially received his Golden Boot award.

The Sandvikens IF forward was presented with his Golden Boot prize after the season as he scored (20) goals with (10) assists.
