U-20 AFCON: Nigeria Flying Eagles Official Jersey Number And Clubsides

The Niggeria U-20 side will later this month engage in 2023 U-20 AFCON Championship with Coach Ladan Bosso leading the flying Eagles team after their big feat during the WAFU-B.

In this piece, we would need taking a look at the Official squad of the Nigeria Flying Eagles and their various Clubside and their Jersey Number.

In a bid to continue the Nigeria U-20 preparations for glory, the Coach Ladan Bosso tutored side left the shores of the country during the week under review as they are expected to travel to Egypt for the Soccer fiesta.

After its triumph over the Zambian U-20 team in Nigeria, the Coach Bosso recorded another big win in a Grade A friendly fixture against Congo with Remo Stars wing-wizard Adams Olamilekan Alade coming off the bench to net the winning goal off Augustine Chimezie delightful delivery.

In the Group stage of the U-20 AFCON, the Nigeria flying eagles are billed to trade tackles with host Nation, Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique.

Nigeria vs Guinea-Bissau: Predicted Super Eagles Starting XI

In a bid to book a place in the AFCON, the Nigeria Super Eagle’s will be engaging in a doubleheader Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau later this month

The Super Eagles will play the first leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on March 24 with the second leg taking place three days later at the 24 de Setembro Nacional Stadium.

In view of the important fixture, Nigeria Super Eagles gaffer, José Peseiro, have listed (24) players to execute the two legged qualifiers series.

With all invited players already in camp, Nigerian based Journalist, Nwosu Chigozie, gives his predicted starting XI the Super Eagles gaffer might come up with in the showdown against Guinea-Bissau.

In his usual 4-3-3 formation, Jose Paseiro ISD tippped to return Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, in goal as being the senior and most experienced amongst the goalkeepers in the Eagless camp presently.

In the backline, the gaffer is predicted to unleash the duo of Kevin Akpoguma and Calvin Bassey in the heart of the defence with the duo of Bruno Onyemaechi and Samuel Osayi I, playing from the left and right-back position respectively.

In the middle of the park, Leicester City defensive Midfielder, Ndidi Wilfred will arguably having a starting place in the Midfielder and might be paired alongside, Alex Iwobi and me mecurial Joe Aribo.

The Nigeria flying Eagle’s camp bubbled following the arrival of Futbola klubs Auda mecurial winger,Abiodun Ogunniyi, Mjällby Allmänna Idrottsförening striker,Yusuf Abdulazeez as well as other invited foreign pros ahead of the team all important fixture against Guinea U23 side.

The Olympic Eagles trade tackles with their Guinean counterparts in a first leg encounter scheduled for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja from 4pm on Wednesday, 22nd March, with the return set for the Complexe Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Al Hassan from 7pm Morocco time on Tuesday, 28th March.

The winner on aggregate will qualify for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations scheduled for Morocco later this year, at which Africa’s flag bearers at next year’s Men’s Olympic Football Tournament will emerge.

Guinea’s delegation for the encounter in Abuja is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Saturday evening.

Head Coach Of Nigeria U-23 team, Coach Salisu Yusuf has invited KAA Gent striker, Chukwudi Goodluck Igbokwe, alongside other 15 overseas-based players to the team’s camp in preparation for this month’s U23 AFCON final qualifying fixture against Guinea.

Highly rated Chukwudi Goodluck Igbokwe, who plies his trade with KAA Gent, in the Belgian top flight league, is the latest foreign based player invited to the Under- 23 Camp, by Head Salisu Yusuf

The 20 year old Striker is seen as possessing the needed experience to strengthen the attacking force of the Coach Salisu Yusuf squad, for the hurculeen task ahead, in the coming weeks.

Since teaming up with, KAA Gent, Chukwudi Goodluck Igbokwe, have continued to show class week in, week out; hence he is seen as the player whose experience will be the tonic required for Nigeria to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, and possibly lift the Under-20 African Cup of Nations, come March, 2023.
