Transfer: Three Nigeria Premier League Teams Joins The Race For Malomo Taofeek Signature

Top Nigerian premier league outfit trio of Enyimba International, Remo Stars and Akwa United have join the race to sign highly rated midfield maestro, Malomo Taofeek, from shooting stars.

After an outstanding season in the just concluded Abridge league season, Malomo thus completed his 3-year deal with the Ibadan based side, Shooting Stars as he would be free to leave as a free agent.

Born Nov 19,2003, 19-year-old Malomo Taofeek who joined Shooting Stars from VIA academy as youngster grew through the ranks to establish a first team place in the traditional Nigeria premier league side.

In their campaign in the Nigeria second tier league, Malomo Taofeek single handedly played a major role to the team regaining promotion as his top level brilliance helped him to net goals and provide assists when needed most.

Upon Shooting Stars promotion back to the Nigeria Elite League, Malomo Taofeek continued from where he stopped as he came through with brilliant performances week in, week out. A consistent play which earned him a National Nigeria Under-23 team.

According to a source close to the player, the highly rated midfielder has plethora of offers on his table but would come up with a decision in the coming weeks as he is currently enjoying his holiday with family and loved ones

Official: Ismaheel Joins Polish Club From Lorient

Polish side, Górnik Zabrze, has completed the transfer of Nigerian forward, Ismaheel Taofeek, from French side Lorien.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Górnik Zabrze, until June 30, 2027.

Ismaheel arrived at Les Merlus in January 2022, and was immediately loaned out to Vålerenga Fotball (Norway), before a two-year loan to SK Beveren in Belgium.

At SK Beveren, he appeared in 56 matches across all competitions and directly participated in 18 goals (8 goals, 10 assists). 

Górnik Zabrze have embarked on a recruitment campaign in the ongoing transfer window, bringing in three players previously on the books of top five European League clubs.

Ismaheel has followed in the footsteps of Aleksander Buksa and Lukáš Ambros, who were acquired from Genoa (Serie A) and Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) respectively.

He is a dynamic winger with the ability to use both feet equally well and good at dribbling. 

Górnik Zabrze have signed the Nigerian as a potential replacement for German winger  Lawrence Ennali, who is heavily linked with a departure from the club this summer. 

On his football curriculum vitae, Taofeek Ismaheel lists Crystal Palace academy, HB Abuja, Skeid and Fredrikstad as his previous clubs.

Transfer: Victory Beniangba Pens Farewell Message To Genk

Highly rated Nigerian forward, Victory Beniangba, will not be extending his contract with Belgian side, Koninklijke Racing Club Genk, after a remarkable seasons with the Belgian second tier league campaigners .

The striker has written an emotional farewell message to everyone associated with Koninklijke Racing Club Genk, whom he has represented since 2022.

Born 15 June 2003, Victory started his professional football career with Nigerian based side, Bayelsa United, where he was spotted a pure gold and went ahead to feature for Ceremica Cleopatra and Tala’ea El Gaish Sporting Club, all in the Egyptian elite league.

Joining Jong Genk in 2022, Victory proved his worth, showing off class, ending seasons on double digit goals which kept him on the spotlight.

Official: Nigeria Scoring Sensation Okoronkwo Jonathan Joins Turkish Club

Turkish outfit, Hatayspor, has won the race to land highly talented Nigerian forward, Jonathan Okoronkwo from Russian top flight league, FC Krasnodar.

Emerging top scorer in the Russian FNL league with Arsenal Tula attracted top offers from various clubs and league before sealing the 3-year deal with Nigeria super agent, Atta Aneke of the players managy group.

Subject to a routine medical, the 20-year-old will put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Hatayspor, who hold a club option for the 2027-2028 season. 

Okoronkwo put himself in the shop window after a remarkable 2023-2024 season that saw him score an impressive seventeen goals in 32 matches during a loan spell at Arsenal Tula.

He is departing Krasnodar after making five appearances for the first team, comprising three games in the Russian Premier League and two in the Russian Cup.

Before making the step up to the first team, he featured eighteen times for Krasnodar’s reserve team in the FNL and 1.League, registering four goal involvements. 

Prior to his rise to stardom, the bullish forward lists amongst talented players scouted and transferred to Russian outfit, FDC Vista by Nigerian Agent, Paul Ojo Omamomo, where he enjoyed an exciting development process combining education with football.
