Tony Edjomariegwe On Song In Qadsia Sporting Club 2-1 Win

In-form Nigerian international, Tony Edjomariegwe continued his impressive goal scoring form in the Kuwaiti topflight league as he came through with, Al-Tadamon SC only goal in their disappointing 2-1 defeat against, Qadsia Sporting Club.

Unbeaten in last (4) game, Qadsia Sporting Club had it’s title quest put to an acidic test on Matchday 8 haven been drawn to trade tackles with unpredictable, Al-Tadamon SC sides at their, Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium.

Aftermath of it’s disappointing loss on Matchday (7) Al-Tadamon SC knocking at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium hoping to steal point(s) when they face, Qadsia Sporting Club away from home on Matchday 8.

Much more hungerier, Qadsia Sporting Club started off like a house on fire and got an early opportunity to go Infront and grabbed it after Al Motawaa scored from the spot at the 2nd minute.

Before the half time break, Qadsia Sporting Club doubled it’s lead, heading back to the locker room with a convincing lead.

on re-emergence for the second half, Nigerian international, Tony Edjomariegwe who had been unlucky in the game final entered the score-sheet, scoring at the 90th minutes to keep the scoreline respectful at full time.

Energetic and youthful Super Eagles defender, Bruno Onyemaechi, has been named Boavista Futebol Clube, Player of the Month for March after a series of standout performances for the club.

The young defender played a vital role in the team’s games against Arouca and Famalicao, making several crucial tackles, interceptions, and ground duels.

Despite Boavista’s 3-0 defeat to Sporting Lisbon, Onyemaechi showed great resilience and played a strong game in the team’s subsequent loss to Famalicao. His contributions on the offensive end, including accurate crosses and key passes, were also a key factor in the team’s performances throughout the month.

In addition to his club success, Onyemaechi’s impressive form was recognized with a call-up to the Nigerian national team for their back-to-back games against Guinea-Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Although he did not feature in either match, the call-up was a significant accomplishment for the 23-year-old defender.

Despite receiving his first international call-up in the lead-up to the friendly against Portugal in November, Onyemaechi is yet to make his debut for the Super Eagles

Nevertheless, his recent performances for Boavista have caught the attention of fans and scouts alike, and he will be eager to continue his impressive form as the team faces Maritimo in their upcoming match.
