Sensational Adeniyi James Nets Brace To Give Tuzlaspor Deserved Win Over Altay

Nigerian international striker, Segun James Adeniyi was the hero for Turkish based side, Tuzlaspor as his brace helped the team in claiming all points at stake against, Altay Spor Kulübü earlier today.

Haven failed to record a win in its last outings, Segun James Adeniyi and Tuzlaspor side hoped for a change in fortune starting from Matchday 19 when they lock horns with Altay Spor Kulübü at their Tuzla Belediye Stadı.

Piped in their last game, Altay Spor Kulübü hoped to recover it’s lost point(s) when they take a trip to the Tuzla Belediye Stadı on a date with Tuzlaspor.

Visitors, Altay Spor Kulübü were the first to break the deadlock at the 4th minute and went ahead to double it’s lead at the 10th minute to have Tuzlaspor chasing from the back foot.

It was all Tuzlaspor affair as it’s Nigerian import, Segun James Adeniyi struck again in the second half to hand the team lead for the first time in the game before stretching their lead at the 90th minute to bring the final scoreline to 4-2 at full time.

With the brace, Segun James Adeniyi, thus has 6 league goals and 4 assists to his name in the on-going TFF 1. League campaign.

Energetic and youthful Super Eagles defender, Bruno Onyemaechi, has been named Boavista Futebol Clube, Player of the Month for March after a series of standout performances for the club.

The young defender played a vital role in the team’s games against Arouca and Famalicao, making several crucial tackles, interceptions, and ground duels.

Despite Boavista’s 3-0 defeat to Sporting Lisbon, Onyemaechi showed great resilience and played a strong game in the team’s subsequent loss to Famalicao. His contributions on the offensive end, including accurate crosses and key passes, were also a key factor in the team’s performances throughout the month.

In addition to his club success, Onyemaechi’s impressive form was recognized with a call-up to the Nigerian national team for their back-to-back games against Guinea-Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Although he did not feature in either match, the call-up was a significant accomplishment for the 23-year-old defender.

Despite receiving his first international call-up in the lead-up to the friendly against Portugal in November, Onyemaechi is yet to make his debut for the Super Eagles
