By Freedom Ekawu

Free agent Ramon Azeez is lining up a move to join Segunda Divison side Real Zaragoza, if recent reports are to go by.
The former Nigerian international has himself five caps for the national side, but has not featured for the three time African champions since 2019.
The 29 year old central midfielder has been without a club since August 31st, 2021, when Spanish side Granada terminated his contract.
Despite the vast experience he has garnered in his playing time in Spanish football, featuring for Almeria, Lugo and then Granada, he has struggled to find himself a new club over the last two transfer windows.
A defensive midfielder by position, he has racked up 71 la liga games, and 105 Segunda Divison matches under his belt, scoring 15 career goals so far.
According to reports by Sport Aragon, the Midfielder has sanctioned his agents to open up negotiations with Spanish side, Real Zaragoza.
It is believed that the Spanish side has not given Azeez and his camp any definite answer regarding their pursuit of the player. While the club values the experience and presence the 29 year old will bring to the club, they have reportedly postponed any transfer move until the winter transfer market.
The last game played by the Future Pro Academy product for the Super Eagles, was in a 4-2 win away to Lesotho in 2019.
