Okoli John: Nigerian Striker Relishes Experience In Egypt

Red-hot Nigerian born striker, John Okoli, has relished his experience playing and living in Egypt as he looks forward to playing himself into reckoning to earn much ado.

In an exclusive interview with Raypower Fm, the Nigerian Striker bared his mind on his side and personal target in the on-going season.

“Yes, i scored my fourth league in the week under review, my performance in thee game was great and not only in the particular game but in the season in general”

“Scoring in the Egyptian topflight league is a feeling everyone loves to get because here in Egypt scoring is quiet hard as well as the league”

“Life in Egypt is nice because you get to see alot of Nigerians living here as well you get to see Nigerian dishes often not like in the other countries i have been to like Bangladesh where is quiet difficult and you have to manage yourself in every situation”

“Our expectations as a club is gain a slot in the CAF confederation or Champions league and it’s my target to help the club acheive it’s set goals”

“Definitely, one has to start from somewhere in life and am grateful for where I am today and on moving to a bigger, i will keep working hard to earn it”

“Nigerian is my fatherland and a big country, getting a call-up to the National team will be a dream come through and I will keep working hard to earn it”

Born on Jul 3, 1997, the sensational El Mokawloon talisman has been in superb form in the current Egyptian topflight league season with a total of 4goals to his name after Matchday 15.

Super Eagles Defender Bruno Onyemaechi Makes Liga Portugal Team of The Week

Nigeria international Bruno Onyemaechi has been named in the Liga Portugal Team of The Week for match-day 25 following an impressive performance despite his side disappointing home defeat.

Onyemaechi who played from the left back position was the cynosure of all eyes as he was rugged defensively and a menace to the opponent’s backline offensively.

The Super Eagles star was handed a deserving start in the starting XI by Petit and he went ahead to hug headlines following his stellar performance in the game.

Ibrahim Olawoyin Makes Turkish TFF First League Team of The Week

Nigeria international Ibrahim Olawoyin has been named in the TFF First League Team of The Week for match-day 27 following an impressive performance that inspired Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü to a resounding 3-1 home win against Altay Spor Kulübü.

Olawoyin was the major catalyst as the Karadeniz Atmacası claimed a convincing 3-1 win at Yeni Rize Şehir Stadium on Saturday.

The In-Form Nigerian was handed a deserving start in the starting XI by Bülent Korkmaz and he went ahead to hug headlines following his stellar performance in the game.

Super Eagles camp bubbles with 19 players Following Bruno Onyemaechi’s arrivals

The Nigeria Super Eagle’s camp bubbled and has its numbers of players increase to (19) with the arrival of Boavista Futebol Clube defender, Bruno Onyemaechi as well as other invited foreign pros ahead of the team all important fixture against Guinea-Bissau side.

In a bid to book a place in the AFCON, the Nigeria Super Eagle’s will be engaging in a doubleheader Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau later this month

The Super Eagles will play the first leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on March 24 with the second leg taking place three days later at the 24 de Setembro Nacional Stadium.

In view of the important fixture, Nigeria Super Eagles gaffer, José Peseiro, have listed (24) players to execute the two legged qualifiers series.
