Offor Chinonso: CF Montréal striker Opens MLS account Against The Philadelphia Union

Nigerian Forward, Chinonso Offor, banged his first goal in the new USA Major League Soccer season as be came from the bench to found back of the net in CF Montréal 3-2 home win over Philadelphia Union.

Offor who returned back from a loan stint with Zulte Waregem has been impressive thus makes CF Montréal matchdays squad list in the new season.

After disappointing outing on Matchday (3) CF Montréal looked forward to make up for the lost points starting from it’s Matchday (4) tie with Philadelphia Union at home.

After a slim 1-0 win over Chicago Fire on Matchday (3) Philadelphia Union hoped to wreck havoc on Matchday (4) when they face,CF Montréal away from home.

CF Montréal came through with a curtain raiser at the 3rd minute as Romell Quioto kept his cool to score from the spot, a goal which separated the two sides at half time.

Philadelphia Union came through with an equalizer in the second half Mikael Uhre 46th minute and they worked hard to establish lead at the half hour mark off the boot of Mikael Uhre.

Cometh the man hour, Cometh the man, Nigerian international, Chinonso Offor who got off the bench at the 80th minute came through with a goal at the 90th minute to restore parity between the two sides.

Resilient CF Montréal side finally grabbed a winning goal at the last minute goal off Quioto Romell second goal of the day.
