Official: SK Slavia Prague Unveils Nigeria Under-20 Ace Muhamed Tijani

Czech Republic top-flight league side, Slavia Prague have completed the transfer of former Nigeria Under-20 striker, Muhamed Tijani from Banik Ostrava.

Born on 26 July 2000, Tijani started his professional football career with Nigerian based side, 36Lions from where he joined Banik Ostrava in 2019.

Tijani joined Třinec on loan in the summer of 2019. He made his professional debut for the club on 27 August in a cup match against TJV.

In February 2020, Tijani was recalled early from his loan to Třinec and moved on loan to Karviná.He made his debut for Karviná on 3 June against Slovácko.

He returned from loan and made his debut for Baník Ostrava against his former club Karviná on 21 August 2020. Tijani scored his first goal for the club in a 3–0 league victory over FK Pardubice on 19 September.

Tijani returned to Třinec on loan on 8 February 2021. He made his second debut against Blansko on 6 March.

Tijani was sent on loan to Táborsko for one year on 23 July 2021. He made his debut against Zbrojovka Brno that same day. He scored his first two goals on 11 August in the Tatran Sedlčany Cup.

After returning to Baník Ostrava, he made his 2022–23 Czech First League debut against SK Sigma Olomouc on 30 July 2022.[15] He scored his first goal of the season on 6 August against Bohemians 1905.[16]

Tijani was part of the Nigeria under-20 squad that competed in the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He played his first international match on 24 May 2019 against the Qatar under-20 side. He scored his first international goal on 30 May by way of a penalty kick against the Ukraine under-20s.

Tijani is currently one of the most admired young strikers in Europe following his exploits in the colors of Banik Ostrava as he has continued to score week in, week out.

The gangling center-forward is believed to fill the void created in Slavia Prague attack following Peter Olayinka imminent transfer to Serbian side Fudbalski klub Crvena zvezda.

Ended the just concluded season on double digit goals, the Nigeria international is tipped to be a big boast to the attacking force of Slavia Prague.

Gbomadu Mathew: Promising Nigeria Forward Provides Stunning Assist In FC Van Win Over FC Alashkert

Highly rated Nigeria youngster, Mathew Gbomadu, was handful in his debut game for Armenian side, FC Van, as he delivered assist for the team winning goal in FC Van 0-1 win away from home against, FC Alashkert.

The bulky Nigeria forward who was handed a starting place in the stars studded FC Van side lived up to expectations as he was a menace to FC Alashkert defenders and still delivered assist for FC Van winning goal.

After break, actions resumed in the Armenian elite league as, FC Alashkert, squared up to host, FC Van, in its Matchday 21 fixture.

FC Van ambushed inconsistent, FC Alashkert, side hoping to compound their woes when the two side trade tackles on Matchday 21.

First half of the game lived up to its billing with the two sides showing off great football artistry to the fans delight.
