Official: Nigerian Defender Emmanuel Okeke Joins Austrian Side LASK

Austrian Regional League Central campaigners, LASK Amateure OÖ have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian youngster, Emmanuel Okeke from from SC Weiz.

Emmanuel who started his professional football career with NK Sesvete made a move to Romanian side, Pandurii in 2020.

The highly rated centre back moved NK Vrapce and NK Dubrava ZG between 2022/2023 season before his eye catcher style of play earned him a mover to Austria where signed up for SC Weiz in 2022.

Announcing the arrival of the young defender, LASK Amateure OÖ, stated on its official website.

“Emmanuel Okeke moves from SC Weiz to our LASK amateurs OÖ. Based in central defense, Emmanuel Okeke has real leadership skills with his 22 years and also has international experience. After his first footballing steps in his home country Nigeria, Okeke moved to Croatia to NK Sesvete in 2019. After a stopover in Romania, it went back to Croatia to the NK Vrapce and a year later to the NK Dubrava ZG. Last summer it moved the left foot to SC Weiz, for which he played 14 games in the Regionalliga Mitte. Okeke is now running for our amateurs and will strengthen the black and white defense

After last year’s defensive series without exception made the leap into the Admiral 2. League, I am very pleased to have won a league-tested and already internationally experienced central defender for our team with Emmanuel Okeke. In addition to his physical presence, Emmanuel will also bring his undisputed leadership skills to the pitch. He will take his next development step through the LASK amateurs!

Victor Olatunji: Nigeria Striker Emerges MOL Cup Champion With Sparta Prague

NNigerian striker, Olatunji Victor, has added another medal in his cabin as Czech Republic giants, Sparta Prague, emerge win of the 2023/2024 MOL Cup.

It would be the second medal for the Nigeria Super Eagles forward in a week afterwards Sparta Prague emergence champions of the Czech Republic Fortuna Liga 2023/2024 season.

Build up to its finals with Viktoria Plezen, Nigerian forward, Victor Olatunji was pivotal to the team’s winning streak to emerge finalists.

The two highly spirited side marched on for the second half and it was Sparta Prague who broke the deadlock following Viktoria Plezen 79th minute own goal.

Sparta Prague celebration was short-lived as Viktoria Plezen restored parity at the 87th minute to rise the game tempo.

Heading into final whistle, Sparta Prague, showed off class as the pick their lead with an 90th minute goal, a goal which turned Cup wining goal for Sparta Prague.
