Official: Estonian Clubside Nõmme Kalju FC Snaps Up Nigeria’s U23 Striker David Promise From Siren FC

Estonian topflight league giants, Nõmme Kalju FC has completed the signing of Nigeria’s U23 Striker, Promise David from Maltese Premier League side Siren FC on a three year deal.

Born on Jul 3, 2001, 21-year-old Promise David started his professional career with Canadian outfit TFC Academy from where he moved to team up with, Vaughan Azzurri in 2015.

After as stint in Canada with, Vaughan Azzurri, Promised David teamed up with Crotian based outfit,NK Trnje Zagreb in 2017 on a free transfer.

In search of new experience, Promised David signed up the dotted lines for USA USL campaigners, FC Tulsa, where he shone like a million stars.

Promising David left the USA to pinch tent with Maltese Premier League side,Valletta in 2022 from where he moved on a free transfer to FC Sirens.

David was part of the U-23 team that progressed to the final round of the U-23 AFCON Qualifiers, after eliminating Tanzania’s U-23 Taifa Stars.

He was part of the first leg that ended in a barren draw in Der es Salaam, capital of Tanzania.

Promise David has been nicknamed ‘BAT’ by fans and admirers of his club, because of his exploits for the team.

Super Eagles Defender Bruno Onyemaechi Makes Liga Portugal Team of The Week

Nigeria international Bruno Onyemaechi has been named in the Liga Portugal Team of The Week for match-day 25 following an impressive performance despite his side disappointing home defeat.

Onyemaechi who played from the left back position was the cynosure of all eyes as he was rugged defensively and a menace to the opponent’s backline offensively.

The Super Eagles star was handed a deserving start in the starting XI by Petit and he went ahead to hug headlines following his stellar performance in the game.

The 23-year-old utility player played out all 90mins in the keenly contested fixture as he recorded a decent number of completed passes and recovery defensively.

Bruno made the list alongside players of other teams who were outstanding for their various clubsides.

Following his outstanding performance, the Nigerian international is currently on a National team assignment as he teamed up with the rest of the Super Eagles squad earlier today ahead of the team showdown against Guinea-Bissau in an AF ON qualifiers double header.

Ibrahim Olawoyin Makes Turkish TFF First League Team of The Week

Nigeria international Ibrahim Olawoyin has been named in the TFF First League Team of The Week for match-day 27 following an impressive performance that inspired Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü to a resounding 3-1 home win against Altay Spor Kulübü.

Olawoyin was the major catalyst as the Karadeniz Atmacası claimed a convincing 3-1 win at Yeni Rize Şehir Stadium on Saturday.

The In-Form Nigerian was handed a deserving start in the starting XI by Bülent Korkmaz and he went ahead to hug headlines following his stellar performance in the game.

The 25-year-old scored the first goal in the game in the early minutes after he found his way to dribble to goal off an assist from fellow Compatriot, Azubuike Okechukwu.

A first half goal which changed thee game to Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü way as they went ahead to score (2) more goals to bring the final scoreline to 3-1.

‘Brymzy’ made the list alongside players of other teams who were outstanding for their various clubsides.

Will be recalled this would be the second consecutive listing of the Nigerian winger in the best performers list.

Super Eagles camp bubbles with 19 players Following Bruno Onyemaechi’s arrivals

The Nigeria Super Eagle’s camp bubbled and has its numbers of players increase to (19) with the arrival of Boavista Futebol Clube defender, Bruno Onyemaechi as well as other invited foreign pros ahead of the team all important fixture against Guinea-Bissau side.

In a bid to book a place in the AFCON, the Nigeria Super Eagle’s will be engaging in a doubleheader Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau later this month

The Super Eagles will play the first leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on March 24 with the second leg taking place three days later at the 24 de Setembro Nacional Stadium.

In view of the important fixture, Nigeria Super Eagles gaffer, José Peseiro, have listed (24) players to execute the two legged qualifiers series.
