Oche Ochowechi Solitary Strike Sinks UD Oliveirense

Nigerian midfielder, Oche Ochowechi, was the hero for Liga Portugal 2 side, Clube Desportivo Feirense, as his solitary strike was enough to earn the team maximum points following their 1-0 win over União Desportiva Oliveirense at the Estádio Carlos Osório.

The Former Remo Stars midfield maestro has been Impressive in the colours of Clube Desportivo Feirense with big game minutes and goals under his belt.

Shaky União Desportiva Oliveirense aimed to redeem itself starting from Matchday 24 when they welcome Clube Desportivo Feirense to the Estádio Carlos Osório.

After a disappointing loss on Matchday 23, Clube Desportivo Feirense were poised to makes amend to make up for the lost points starting from Matchday 24 when they face União Desportiva Oliveirense.

First half of the game produced no goals with the two sides showing off power in the middle of the park.

Home side, União Desportiva Oliveirense were handed a golden opportunity to draw the first blood in the second half but failed to make it count after failing to convert from the spot.

Tied on same scoreline, Nigerian international and Clube Desportivo Feirense midfielder,Oche Ochowechi came through with the sorted goal at the 77th minute to put his side’s into lead.

União Desportiva Oliveirense were handed another golden opportunity to draw level but failed to convert from the spot for the second time which resulted to a 0-1 loss at the Estádio Carlos Osório
