Nigeria Vs São Tomé: 4 In-Form Nigerian Stars Who Can Add Value To Super Eagles Team

Blessed with crop of talented players scattered all over European and Scandinavian leagues, the Nigeria Super Eagles if harness all Nigerian players can be a huge force in Africa and the world.
In the new season in almost European and Scandinavian leagues, Nigerian players has continued to make huge statements with their current form which signals their maturity and readiness to be incorporated into the Super Eagles fold.
Billed to face São Tomé and Príncipe next month (10) in a world cup qualifiers series, here are (6) Nigerian In-Form Nigerian Stars who should earn a call-up for the big game next month.

1. Victor Boniface (Bayern 04 Leverkusen, Germany)
Unarguably one of the hottest Nigerian prospect in Europe. Within a season, the form Bodo/Glimt striker has had a rapid growth joining Belgian side, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in 2022, after an outstanding season, he earned a move to German Bundesliga giants, Bayern 04 Leverkusen.
The Nigerian forward has continued to prove the ‘hype’ around him as he has gradually carving a niche for himself in his new home from earning a starting place immediately to firing a brace to record a (2) goals and an assist.
Boniface Unarguably deserves a place in the Super Eagles team as his unique style of play will add quality and spark to the Eagles Frontline.

2. Gift Orban (Gent, Belgium)
Just like Victor Boniface, Orban is a new wonder-kid in the block whose career took a swift shift in paradigm since joining Belgian topflight league side, KAA Gent from Norwegian side, Stabek.
The goal manic burst into limelight as he fired a hattick within (3) minutes of play in the Europa League and went ahead to net (3) hattrick on different occasions for KAA Gent.
Orban in the new season has continued to show his exploits last season weren’t no flukes as he has already scored (6) goals in all competition this season.
A natural goal poacher, Orban ability to score from any angle is one outstanding quality needed in the Nigeria Super Eagle’s team. Probably be used as a ‘Joker’ Orban can actually be used to kill off games when tough.

3. Igoh Ogbu (Slavia Prague, Czech Republic)
With many clean-sheet under his belt, the former Nigeria Under-20 Star has continued to show class since joing Czech Republic based side, Slavia Prague from Norwegian based teaam, Lillestrøm Sportsklubb.
Arriving at the SK Slavia Prague and walking into the starting XI speaks volume how much of a talent he is.
The ball playing and Rock-solid defender came into the SK Slavia Prague team and calmed the storm in the team backline, Igoh in his first season was handful for SK Slavia Prague as his marshalled the team backline to win the prestigious Czech Republic MOL Cup.
With a handful of current Nigeria Super Eagles defenders in their 30’s, Igoh youthfulness is one quality that would help rebuild the Nigeria National team defensive issues.
His pace, ball recovery and agility will add a big value to the Nigeria Super Eagle’s team as he can be easily paired along any of the Nigeria Super Eagles experienced defenders.

4. Akor Adams (Montpellier Hérault SC, France)
Coming from the Norwegian league and hitting the ground running in the French Ligue 1 clearly shows his goal scoring party in the colours of Lillestrom over the years is no fluke.
With (2) goals on his debut and in the league, Akor is a goal machine that will unarguably be a good back-up for the strikers in the Eagles team.
Akor’s clinical goal scoring prowess is one quality that would make the Super Eagles team front line formidable as any substitution on games will never reduce the team fire upfront but make it more dangerous.
