Muhamed Tijani: Nigerian Striker Bags Puma Deal

Nigerian Striker, Muhamed Tijani, has been signed as a Puma athlete. The 23-year-old disclosed this via his verified Instagram handle after signing thee dotted lines.

“Excited to step into this new journey with Puma football and ready to run with the big cats!” His Instagram tweet read.

The lanky forward currently on the books of Czech Republic Fortuna Liga outfit, Slavia Prague, thus joins other top stars who are worthy PUMA ambassadors.

Born 26 July 2000, Tijani joined Czech club Baník Ostrava’s youth system from Nigerian side 36 Lion FC on 27 September 2018. He signed a professional contract with Baník Ostrava on 27 August 2019.

Tijani joined Třinec on loan in the summer of 2019. He made his professional debut for the club on 27 August in a cup match against TJ Valašské Meziříčí.

In February 2020, Tijani was recalled early from his loan to Třinec and moved on loan to Karviná. He made his debut for Karviná on 3 June against Slovácko.

Tijani returned from loan and made his debut for Baník Ostrava against his former club Karviná on 21 August 2020. Tijani scored his first goal for the club in a 3–0 league victory over FK Pardubice on 19 September.

Tijani was sent on loan to Táborsko for one year on 23 July 2021. He made his debut against Zbrojovka Brno that same day. He scored his first two goals on 11 August in the Tatran Sedlčany Cup.

After returning to Baník Ostrava, he made his 2022–23 Czech First League debut against SK Sigma Olomouc on 30 July 2022. He scored his first goal of the season on 6 August against Bohemians 1905.

On 21 June 2023 Tijani joined Slavia Prague, signing a contract valid until 2028.

Nigeria duo of Goodluck Igbokwe and Ahmed Abdullahi added to their goal tally in the Belgian National Division 1 following their goal involvement in KAA Gent B 0-4 win away from home against Heist.

The Nigeria Under-20 duo has been in astonishing form in the colours of Gent B with handful of goals to their name with red-hot forward Ahmed Abdullahi leading the goal scorers chart with 10goals.

Following its lose on Matchday 12, Heist braced up for a tough test against Gent B as they eye a win and a change of fortune to turn around their position on the log.

Hoping to climb on the log, Gent B filed out against Heist on Matchday 13 hoping to sustain its winning streak.

First half of the game went the way of the visitors as Gent B opened scoring at the 21st minute to lead at half time.

In the second half, Nigeria forward, Ahmed Abdullahi doubled Gent B lead before the team killed off the game with (2) more goals and Nigeria forward, Goodluck Igbokwe closing scoring with his 80th minute goal to earn the fixture on a win for Gent B on a 0-4 score line

Belgian Cup: Nigeria Striker Goal Inspires Royal Antwerp Comeback Against Royal Charleroi

Nigeria wing wizard , Chidera Ejuke, put up another fantastic display as his goal inspired Royal Antwerp 5-2 comeback victory over Royal Charleroi Sporting Club in Wednesday night in the Belgian cup.

The Nigeria international who has been in outstanding form after opening his goal account in Royal Antwerp draw away from him booked a place in the Belgian cup and came through big for the team with a goal.

The Nigeria Super Eagles star was inspirational in Royal Antwerp encounter against Royal Charleroi Sporting Club as his strike was enough to help his side subdue its opponents in the Belgian cup.

First half of the game had the visitors, Royal Charleroi Sporting Club, taking an early lead after breaking the deadlock at the 28th minute and went ahead to double its lead at the 31st minute.

Royal Antwerp turning point began lately in the first half as Nigeria forward Chidera Ejuke reduced the deficit to 2-1 before the half time brea.

Royal Antwerp built on Ejuke’s goal to start a come back as they leveled parity at 57th minute and went ahead to score at the 71st, 76th and 90th minute to earn a 5-2 win at full time

Chidera Ejuke: Nigeria Striker Wins Goal Of The Month Award In Belgium

Chidera Ejuke, Super Eagles forward, has won the Royal Antwerp goal of the month award for November

The winner was announced on the team Instagram page earlier today

The Nigerian scored an exquisite goal in Royal Antwerp 1-1 stalemate against Koninklijke Sint-Truidense Voetbalvereniging, a goal which served a point for the team.

The goal came in the 81st minute of the second half as Koninklijke Sint-Truidense Voetbalvereniging were already cruising to a slim home win but Ejukes goal ensured a share of spoils.

After making huge statement after coming off the bench to find back of the net against Koninklijke Sint-Truidense Voetbalvereniging, the Nigeria Super Eagles star has continued to be consistent with goal scoring and top performance in league and cup games for Royal Antwerp.
