To improve its position on the log, Maccabi Petah Tikva F.C relied on their 12th man to clinch a win playing at home against, Hapoel Nof HaGalil F.C on Matchday 16.

In its quest to swim outta the relegation waters, Hapoel Nof HaGalil F.C eyed point(s) in its uphill task against high placed, Maccabi Petah Tikva F.C side.

Energetic and youthful Super Eagles defender, Bruno Onyemaechi, has been named Boavista Futebol Clube, Player of the Month for March after a series of standout performances for the club.

The young defender played a vital role in the team’s games against Arouca and Famalicao, making several crucial tackles, interceptions, and ground duels.

Despite Boavista’s 3-0 defeat to Sporting Lisbon, Onyemaechi showed great resilience and played a strong game in the team’s subsequent loss to Famalicao. His contributions on the offensive end, including accurate crosses and key passes, were also a key factor in the team’s performances throughout the month.

In addition to his club success, Onyemaechi’s impressive form was recognized with a call-up to the Nigerian national team for their back-to-back games against Guinea-Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Although he did not feature in either match, the call-up was a significant accomplishment for the 23-year-old defender.

Despite receiving his first international call-up in the lead-up to the friendly against Portugal in November, Onyemaechi is yet to make his debut for the Super Eagles
