LA VIENA OF EGYPT NEW SIGNING, OGUNROBI HAWAL EYES U-20 CALL UP

LA Viena’s new signing and youth product of Masterclass Football Academy has stated that he is enjoying a new lease of life since he joined up with LA VIENA in the Egyptian second division league.

The Left Wing Midfielder also believes he can add more firepower to the Flying Eagles attack who have already qualified for the FIFA World Youth Championship initially slated to hold in Indonesia but will no longer hold due to diplomatic reasons with FIFA now shopping for a new host.

In his words “I am excited to have joined up with LA VIENA in the Egyptian second division league. I believe it is a step that will help me advance in my football career. I am already fast adjusting here and I am hoping that my performances here will be enough for me to get a call up to the Nigerian U-20 as I believe I can bring my unique abilities to ensure the team becomes more competitive” concluded Hawal

Ghanaian Centre Back, Mintah Bernard Owusu has stated that he is more than excited to have made a significant contribution to the survival of Bayelsa United in relegation battle in the NPFL.

The Yenegoa based side survived relegation and recorded a 2-0 win over Niger Tornadoes on the last day of the league and Mintah says he is highly elated just like every other team mates to have played a crucial part in the team’s survival.

Bayelsa United finished 7th on the Group B log with 21 points, winning 6 games, drawing 6 games and also losing 6 games
