KATSINA UNITED COMPLETES ADDITIONAL NEW SIGNINGS

Katsina United has completed the signings of additional new players ahead of the second stanza of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Changi Boys have been active in the mid-season transfer window in a bid to strengthen their team, who are 8th on the log.
Some of the new signings includes; Abiodun Adebayo from Niger Tornadoes and who plays as Center Back. Also joining the ranks of Katsina United is former Rangers International forward, Jonas Emmanuel. Others are Abdullahi Musa Wakili from Lobi Stars as well as Adeleye Oluwatobi, Alemoh Moses, Edet Isaac, Shamsudeen Hashim, Dennis Akio, Taofeek Ahmed and Jonas James.
Katsina United with the latest additions will now look to improve on their form as well as their standings on the NPFL log.

Official: Nigeria Female Under-20 Ace Ajakaye Joins Madrid CFF

Spainish side, Madrid CFF, has announced the capture of Nigerian youngster, Ajakaye Opeyemi from Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Robo Queens.

Ajakaye announced herself to the world during the 2022 U-20 EWomen’s World Cup held in Costa Rica.

Ajakaye was with Nigeria’s U-20 women at the WAFU-B U-20 tournament in Ghana where she won the tournament’s highest goal scorer award with six goals.

Before she was drafted to the Falconets, she was part of the Flamingos (U-17) side that won the country’s first-ever bronze medal at the U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Ajakaye who was called up to the Super Falcons team is expected to continue their development at Madrid CFF.

Madrid CFF, currently fourth in the Spanish Primera División Femenina, will benefit from the addition of Ajakaye to their roster as they aim for continued success in the league.

Robo Queens are currently fourth with 12 points in Group B in the NWFL.

Official: Super Falcons Midfielder Esther Onyenezide Joins Spainish Outfit Madrid CFF

Spanish based side, Madrid CFF, has completed the transfer of Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Esther Onyenezide, from Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Robo Queens.

Onyenezide announced herself to the world during the 2022 U-20 EWomen’s World Cup held in Costa Rica.

The 20-year-old midfielder won two Woman of The Match awards in the group stages scoring three goals but could not help Nigeria progress beyond the quarter-finals stages after the Falconets were defeated by the Netherlands.

Before she was drafted to the Falconets, she was part of the Flamingos (U-17) side that won the country’s first-ever bronze medal at the U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Esther who earned a call up to the Super Falcons recently will continue their development at their new club in Madrid

Madrid CFF, currently fourth in the Spanish Primera División Femenina, will benefit from the addition of highly rated Nigerian youngster, Esther Onyenezide to their roster as they aim for continued success in the league.

Onyenezide will wear jersey number 4 whilst her Nigerian counterpart, Ajakaye will wear jersey number 24

Robo Queens are currently fourth with 12 points in Group B in the NWFL.

Official: Nigeria Striker Abdussalam Magashy Joins Kalmar FF From AIK

Swedish Allsvenskan side, Kalmar FF, has unveiled its new Nigerian acquisition, Abdussalam Magashy, from fellow Swedish Allsvenskan campaigners, AIK, for an undisclosed fee.

25-year-old Abdussalam Magashy started his professional football career with Swedish based side, Växjö United, from where he proceeded to join Kristianstad FC in 2018 on a free transfer.

After a year wearing the colors of Kristianstad FX, the Nigerian goal poacher outstanding performances earned him a move to IFK Värnamo on another free transfer in 2019.

Magashy goal scoring prowess never went unnoticed as he was coped by Swedish Allvenskan side, AIK, in 2022 where painted the league with goals to attract lots of offers afterwards.

With numerous clubs jostling for his signature, Magashy opted to remain in the Swedish Allvenskan as he went ahead to team up with Kalmar FF.
