Iwu Ugochukwu: Nigerian Born Midfielder Dumps Super Eagles For Armenia National Team

Football Club Urartu midfielder, Ugochukwu Iwu, has made a surprised u-turn by dumping the Super Eagles to represent Armenia national football team.

The Nigerian born marked his first appearance for the Armenia national football team in Armenia 1-2 home defeat against Turkish national football team in one of the Europa qualifiers fixture played earlier today.

Born on 28 November 1999, combative 23-year-old Iwu Ugochukwu who was born in Jos,Plateau State, Started his professional football career with Nigerian topflight league side,El-Kanemi Warriors F.C.

After a stint with the Nigeria based side, Iwu Ugochukwu landed in Armenia where he signed up with Armenian based outfit,Lori FC in 2018.

After his (3) years stint with, Lori FC, scoring (4) goals in (36) apperances, Iwu Ugochukwu opted for a loan with Armenian side, Football Club Pyunik Yerevan.

Upon his loan expiration, Iwu Ugochukwu signed up the dotted lines to play for Football Club Urartu.

Ever present Iwu Ugochukwu in Football Club Urartu has been Outstanding for the team winning MOTM and team Best Player of the season on numerous occasions.

The Nigerian born midfielder who fully nationalized in Armenia has been handed his first cap for the Armenia national football team.

Pachuca Femenil backline to clinch a 4-0 win against Santos Laguna (w) on a clean-sheet in one of the fixtures played in the Mexican Femenil earlier today.

    The Super Falcons are set to take on South Africa in a two-match series, with the initial encounter slated for April 5 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

    The return leg is slated for April 9 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

    The winner of the tie will clinch one of Africa’s two tickets to the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.

    Ohale who joined Pachuca Femenil at the beginning of the year has continued to stamp authority in the heart of Pachuca Femenil with handful of clean sheets under her belt.

    The rock-solid defender with her experience and calmness in play is believed to help the Nigeria Super Falcons outplay South Africa to clinch one of the spots for Paris Women Olympics.
