Transfer: Beniagba Dumps Genk For Swiss Club Servette FC

Swiss Super League giants, Servette FC , has confirmed and unveiled Nigerian striker, Victory Beniagba, who teamed up from Belgian clubside, KRC Genk.

After his failed move to Serbian side, Red Star Belgrade, the much sorted after Nigerian forward will leave KRC Genk and has put pen to paper to ink a deal with Servette FC.

Born 15 June 2003, 21-years old, Victory Beniangba played at the Young Boys Football Academy, before joining his local side Bayelsa United FC, for whom he played in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2021.

The towering forward signed with the Egyptian side Ceramica Cleopatra, but was immediately loaned to Cairo-based side Tala’ea El Gaish SC in February 2022.

The Nigerian youngster went ahead to score six goals in eighteen games in the Egyptian Premier League for Tala’ea El Gaish.

Beniangba became a transfer target for K.R.C. Genk in August 2022.

In September 2022 Beniangba made his debut for Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League.He scored his first goal for Jong Genk on October 16, 2022, in a 3–2 home win over RSCA Futures.

The Nigerian forward lighted up the Challenger Pro League in his three years stint with the club, scoring 18goals in 47 appearances.

Official: Ismaheel Joins Polish Club From Lorient

Polish side, Górnik Zabrze, has completed the transfer of Nigerian forward, Ismaheel Taofeek, from French side Lorien.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Górnik Zabrze, until June 30, 2027.

Ismaheel arrived at Les Merlus in January 2022, and was immediately loaned out to Vålerenga Fotball (Norway), before a two-year loan to SK Beveren in Belgium.

At SK Beveren, he appeared in 56 matches across all competitions and directly participated in 18 goals (8 goals, 10 assists). 

Górnik Zabrze have embarked on a recruitment campaign in the ongoing transfer window, bringing in three players previously on the books of top five European League clubs.

Ismaheel has followed in the footsteps of Aleksander Buksa and Lukáš Ambros, who were acquired from Genoa (Serie A) and Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) respectively.

He is a dynamic winger with the ability to use both feet equally well and good at dribbling. 

Górnik Zabrze have signed the Nigerian as a potential replacement for German winger  Lawrence Ennali, who is heavily linked with a departure from the club this summer. 

On his football curriculum vitae, Taofeek Ismaheel lists Crystal Palace academy, HB Abuja, Skeid and Fredrikstad as his previous clubs.

Paul Omamomo: My Desire Is To See Young Nigeria Players Get Educated.

Leading Nigeria football agent Paul Omamomo Ojo, has made know his intention is to see the next generation of Nigeria young football is to be educated while playing the game at the same time speaking to Nigeriasportsnews Journalist, Nwosu ‘Chygoz’ Nwosu.


“Vista is a football program that combine football with education, and its a football development centre that combine football with education in Russia and they scout players from all over Africa countries and it’s a program for underage players where any players that are scouted will have to play football at same time go to school in Russia, and this is also a fantastic opportunity for Nigeria young player to play and school”.


Explaining further, I choose to get involved in these simply because of the educational value it offers for young footballers and I believe that these young players need the education in their life, and after their careers as footballer when I had the opportunity I did not think twice to get involved for Nigeria youth and I will not hesitate to give more of these offer to young Nigeria, I discovered that most Nigerian footballers are not educated which is a disadvantage to them when negotiating their contract and with these kind of programmes they will be able to stand for them self in the future.


The programme have given us the privileges to take over 50 young Nigerians to the Vista Academy in Russia and with almost 40 of them are playing international clubs football across Europe.

Baring his view on the impact of the project on the young footballer we have in Nigeria the top agent said.

For me it is number one project in Nigeria combining football with education and its the best of its kind and it the one that gives them the opportunity to travel at the right age to Europe, it also prepare you to travel at the right time and also prepare you for the football challenge at the club level at least for now Vista project is one of the. Best at the moment”


According to him, one of the amazing thing is that the players will be in Europe in the next 2 months to start a career in football with education once you are identify as a talent and the scouts are satisfy with your ability to make the top grade once you get to the academy in Russia.


We have ensure every part of Nigeria are represented, as we can see from the number of the Academy graduates drawn from various states across Nigeria.

It will be recalled one of the Academy graduate spotted by Agent Paul Ojo Omamomo in the current transfer window transferred to Swiss Super League giants, Zurich FC with another trio joining Bulgarian side, Botev Plovdiv.

In same vein, will be recalled three Nigerian youngsters spotted in different Academy in Nigeria left the shores of the country last week to continue their development in Russia with FDC Vista.
