G12 Football Academy Boss Hakeem Olatunji Felicitate With Re-elected Lagos State Governor

President of Lagos based football outfit, Mustapha Hakeem Olatunji, has joined other well meaning Lagosians to send his congratulatory message to re-elected Governor of Lagos State,Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on his triumph in last conducted Gubernatorial polls at the weekend.

“Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, landslide victory at the polls conducted last weekend clearly shows how much his works are been appreciated in Lagos State”

“He is a Sports loving Governor and is the reason why sports, especially football has continued to grow from strength to strength in Lagos State”

“On behalf of G12 conglomerate, i wish him the best in his re-election which i know will bring forth true dividends of democracy in Lagos State and it’s environs “

Re-elected Governor Sanwo-Olu, who polled 762,134 votes, defeated his closest rival, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party who polled 312,329 and followed by Olajide Adeniran of the Peoples Democratic Party who polled 62,449 votes.

The total number of registered voters in the state is 7,060,195, but the number of accredited voters for the poll was 1,182,620

P Sports Football Academy President Paul Omamomo Condolences Over Ekene Adams Death

President P Sports Football Academy, Mr Paul Ojo Omamomo, has expressed a deep shock over the sudden death of the Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams.

The Prominent Academy big boss described the deceased as a great icon in Nigeria football haven served as the General Manager of Kada city and Remo Stars.

The erstwhile player who passed on to glory on Tuesday, 16th July, 2024 after a brief illness has been described as a selfless and dogged fighter .

Paul Omamomo equally sympathized with the Chief Executive Officer of Remo Stars , Chief Kunle Soname under whom he rose to the green Chamber and the entire football fraternity.

“It was really a sad news for us who were close associates with him, Honorable Adams Ekene Abubakar, was a great administrator and a gentleman to the core”

“Was privilege to work with him during our days at Remo Stars Football Club and it was all success stories althrough following his administrative acumen “

“Honourable Adams Ekene, no doubt has left an indelible mark in the hearts of many Nigerians, particularly the sports communities and I believe his soul is resting with the Almighty God. ”

I pray for the entire members of the house of Representatives, Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Nigeria Football Federation, his family and of course the Chairman, Remo Stars, Chief Kunle Soname to have a fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. ”

“While I pray his gentle soul rest in the bossom of the Almighty God , May the good Lord put an end to this loss in our midst, amen.” Soft speaking Paul Ojo Omamomo prayed.

On return for the second half, rampaging Abia Warriros marksman, Sunday Megwo, stepped to be counted following his overall input in the game.

A swift interchange of passes from the Pride of Umuahia ended with Ojonugwa Adejoh sending a delightful pass into the opponents vital area for Sunday Megwo to strike with precision and score his 5th goal in the President Federation Cup.

Sporting Supreme, competing in the second tier of Nigerian football, came all out in the closing stages of the match in search of an equalizer, but Abia Warriors defence quartet of captain Augustine Njoku, Prince Okorie, Collins Nwoburuoke and Aliyu Mohammed refused to bulge.

With this victory, Abia Warriors will now wait for the draws by the organizers to ascertain their next opponents.
