CROWNED ACADEMY PLAYERS, ORIANWO CHIZEZI AND OGUNTIMEHIN EZEKIEL RELIEVES EXPERIENCE TRAINING WITH NIGERIA U-17 TEAM

Two rising Stars of Crowned Academy of Lagos, Orianwo Standwyn Chizezi and Oguntimehin Ezekiel have shared their experience of training with the Coach Nduka Ugbade tutored U-17 team.

Speaking with the Crowned Academy media department, Orianwo Standwyn Chizezi said “it was a massive experience for me having to train with the U-17 team and to also receive instructions from the Head Coach whom I have heard a lot of positives about his style of coaching. With this experience, I will return home to our camp a much improved player” concluded Chizezi who is currently Crowned Academy top scorer this season.

Ezekiel Oguntimehin also shared his experience and said it was a worthwhile experience, even though they had a limited time to train with the Nigerian Golden Eaglets who are preparing for the AFCON U-17 in Algeria which is less than six weeks away.

The Nigerian U-17 team who are five times champions of the U-17 world cup won the WAFU Zone B Tourney last year in June 2022 qualifying for the AFCON U-17 scheduled to be held in May in the cities of Algiers, Constantine and Annaba in Algeria.
