The CEO of Desential Sports Agency, one of the fastest growing sports agency in Nigeria, Olugbenga Agbejoye has stated that the goals of his agency is to create more career pathways for talented Nigerian players.

The agency recently concluded the transfers of three players namely Oluwaseyi Okeowo, Ogunronbi Hawal Ademola and Cletus-Igwe Francis.

Oluwaseyi Okeowo is currently on the payroll of Dekernes in the Egyptian second tier league.

Desential Sports Agency also have Miekam Womene listed on its agency as one of its client as well as the current Head Coach of Bayelsa United, DIPREYE TEIBOWEI.

The fast rising Nigeria Sports agency is associated with world’s leading agency, SPOCS GLOBAL who have represented prominent names in the Football industry including names like Mohammed Salah of Liverpool, amongst others.

Both Desential Sports and SPOCS GLOBAL also co-represents one of the leading Nigeria’s top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Robert Mizo who plays for Bayelsa United as well as Victory Beniangba who currently plies his football trade in the Belgian Challenger PRO league with Jong Genk.

Having identified that gap, we decided to float our agency and we have started creating career pathways for these talents to fulfill their dreams”

He further stated that three players signed to Desential Sports Agency will be heading to Europe soonest with the move facilitated by Desential Sports in collaboration with SPOCS GLOBAL.

Also speaking about the agency and what sets the agency apart and ahead of several agencies is Executive Director of Desential Sports, Sherif Hussain who stated that the agency offers wholesome services for its clients including representation, welfare, PR and media services and lots more. “We ensure that our clients are very comfortable, we are not just a broker agency but we provide total representation for our clients, to ensure that everything required of us to make them attain their full potentials are available for them. We will continue to create opportunities for Nigerian and by extension African players and managers to fulfill their potentials” concluded Sherif.

Desential Sports Agency will be organising a scouting tournament in collaboration with SPOCS GLOBAL later in September of 2023.

Twenty-two-year-old Bamidele Adeniyi has assured Plateau United fans of his best as the season gets to its finale, with less than 12 matches to go.

The Jos-based who had enjoyed a blistering run of form this season, succumbed to their first home defeat on MatchDay 27 to Akwa United after they fell 2-1 at the New Jos Stadium.

Born on 14th September 2001, the former MFM FC of Lagos, Rangers and Shooting Stars goalie who’s in his first season in Joe, is one of the young shot-stoppers in the NPFL,

Bamidele’s skills in goal know no bounds, as he is a fan favourite owing to his sharp reflexes and breathtaking saves during matches.

With Plateau United aiming for a Top 3 finish in the six-horse race for the NPFL title, Bamidele shares his optimism.

“It has been a tough and challenging season for Plateau United and me in particular. Every season has its ups and downs but with hard work and dedication, I think I have done well in these nearly two seasons at the club.

” We are in a crucial stage of the season, so everyone’s input must count if we’re to achieve the management-set goals.

“I like to be positive, so am optimistic that my teammates and I will come good going forward as will put the setback against Akwa United behind and now take the matches as they come.”

Bamidele Adeniyi has assured Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan fans that the club can finish the current Nigeria Premier Football League season on a high by picking a CAF ticket or winning a silverware, FA Cup at the end of the season.

The Oluyole Warriors are in Kaduna as they are guests to Niger Tornadoes in a MatchDay 27 fixture billed for the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

Adeniyi, 22 years old, is one of the top-class young shot-stoppers in the Nigeria Premier Football League, his sharp reflexes, breathtaking saves that leave fans on the edge of their seats in matches and physical presence in goal make him the ‘Commander’ of his back four, as he marshal orders on his defenders during matches.

Born on 14th September 2001, the former MFM FC of Lagos and Rangers goalie who’s in his second season with the CAF Champions League runners-up, assured that the 3SC season has been rejuvenated after going six matches unbeaten, with the latest against Remo Stars.

“It has been a tough and challenging season for the Shooting Stars and me in particular. Every season has its ups and downs but with hard work and dedication.

” We are now rated among the top 6 teams for the NPFL title looking at the points that separate the teams in that order.

“The win in Gombe has been a turnaround for Shooting Stars, as it spurred us to break the no-win jinx against our South West bitter rivals Remo Stars 2-0, and saw us go six matches unbeaten.

“Quoting Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, we want to keep the momentum going as the second phase of the NPFL is the toughest, as every point gnarred counts and could be the deciding factor regarding position on the log at the end of the season.”
