Ex-IK Start & Nigeria’s Aremu Extends Contract With German Side St Pauli

Nigerian international, Afeez Aremu will continue life at the Millerntor-Stadion after extending his contract with German based and 2. Bundesliga outfit, Fußball-Club St Pauli.

Confirming his contract extension, Fußball-Club St Pauli took to his social media to announce to the timid fans of the club of it’s contract extension with Nigerian Midfielder, Afeez Aremu for another one season.

Reacting after signing the dotted lines which will keep him at the Millerntor-Stadion for another one season, Afeez Aremu expresses optimism of making the next year one of his stay with Fußball-Club St Pauli to count positively.

“Hamburge has become our second home for me and my family and so am happy to play for Fußball-Club St Pauli in the coming years”

“I thank the club for their support and trust and I want to repay it with good performances.I’m going to have a good time with my friends” Afeez Aremu concluded.

Born on 3 October 1999, Afeez Aremu Olalekan started his professional football career in Nigeria where he featured for Remo Stars, defunct Sharks, Sunshine Stars, Rivers United and Akwa United

After an exciting play in the Nigeria topflight league, Afeez Aremu teamed up with Norwegian Eliteserien outfit, IK Start from where he joined, Fußball-Club St Pauli in 2020 and has been flourishing in the colours of the Kiezkicker.

    Nigerian defender, Ohale Osinachi, has sent strong warnings to South Africa ahead of the Women’s Olympic FIFA World Cup play-off against South Africa later this month as she expertly commanded C.F. Pachuca Femenil backline to clinch a 4-0 win against Santos Laguna (w) on a clean-sheet in one of the fixtures played in the Mexican Femenil earlier today.

    The Super Falcons are set to take on South Africa in a two-match series, with the initial encounter slated for April 5 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

    The return leg is slated for April 9 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

    The winner of the tie will clinch one of Africa’s two tickets to the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.

    Ohale who joined Pachuca Femenil at the beginning of the year has continued to stamp authority in the heart of Pachuca Femenil with handful of clean sheets under her belt.
