Evo Christ Ememe: We Left Home To Make Home Proud

Nigerian born and Maltese topflight league November/December player of the month in an exclusive interview with,Maltapa, takes us through his journey in the round leather game and as well as his dreams and aspirations.

Speaking on how he joined Maltese topflight league side, Mosta Football Club, Evo Christ Ememe relished how he went from Nigeria to Latvia where he underwent trials .

“In Latvia during the trials session, it didn’t work work and I was recommended for Mosta Football Club where i hoped to sign a professional contract but didn’t work out”

“I was made to play with the Mosta Football Club U19 and i scored over 30goals which earned me a professional contract Mosta Football Club a season afterwards and have been with Mosta and having a great season with them”

Speaking on his adaption into the Maltese topflight league as a foreigner..

“We left home to make home proud and one needs to be focused to make home proud”

“Positively, been able to make new friends, i have seen good things and I have been able to adapt with life in Europe and coming to Europe is a whole experience “

“Am getting used to the league, with Hardwork because I have my own training session after the normal training and that has made the league easy

Speaking on his personal goals and aspiration, Evo Christ Ememe reveled his aim to play in the champions league in no distant time

“I want to play in the champions league and compete with the best in the game of football and I know it requires lots of Hardwork and now am young, i need to actually put in the Hardwork

“Was happy when I opened Instagram and I saw i have been voted for player of the month and I was quiet happy and is a great motivation for me to keep going and working hard”

Super Eagles Defender Bruno Onyemaechi Makes Liga Portugal Team of The Week

Nigeria international Bruno Onyemaechi has been named in the Liga Portugal Team of The Week for match-day 25 following an impressive performance despite his side disappointing home defeat.

Onyemaechi who played from the left back position was the cynosure of all eyes as he was rugged defensively and a menace to the opponent’s backline offensively.

The Super Eagles star was handed a deserving start in the starting XI by Petit and he went ahead to hug headlines following his stellar performance in the game.

Ibrahim Olawoyin Makes Turkish TFF First League Team of The Week

Nigeria international Ibrahim Olawoyin has been named in the TFF First League Team of The Week for match-day 27 following an impressive performance that inspired Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü to a resounding 3-1 home win against Altay Spor Kulübü.

Olawoyin was the major catalyst as the Karadeniz Atmacası claimed a convincing 3-1 win at Yeni Rize Şehir Stadium on Saturday.

The In-Form Nigerian was handed a deserving start in the starting XI by Bülent Korkmaz and he went ahead to hug headlines following his stellar performance in the game.

Super Eagles camp bubbles with 19 players Following Bruno Onyemaechi’s arrivals

The Nigeria Super Eagle’s camp bubbled and has its numbers of players increase to (19) with the arrival of Boavista Futebol Clube defender, Bruno Onyemaechi as well as other invited foreign pros ahead of the team all important fixture against Guinea-Bissau side.

In a bid to book a place in the AFCON, the Nigeria Super Eagle’s will be engaging in a doubleheader Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau later this month

The Super Eagles will play the first leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on March 24 with the second leg taking place three days later at the 24 de Setembro Nacional Stadium.

In view of the important fixture, Nigeria Super Eagles gaffer, José Peseiro, have listed (24) players to execute the two legged qualifiers series.
