The Nigeria U-20 earlier today grabbed it’s First maximum points in the on-going U-20 AFCON following its (1-0) win over the Egyptian U-20 team earlier today.

All thanks to tallish defender, Solomon Agbalaka who came through with a bullet headerr to secure all points at the stake for the Coach Ladan Bosso tutored Flying Eagles team.

With a decent show against the young Pharos of Egypt, here is a rating of the Nigeria Flying Eagles Players according to their input in the team wind.

1. Nathaniel Nwosu (9/10)
Haven won the heart of Coach Ladan Bosso, Nathaniel Nwosu maintained his place ins between the sticks, producing a stunning performance.

Nathaniel showed off class twice in the game he was called to action, a big safe which proved vital for the team.

2. Benjamin Fredrick (9/10)
Youthful Benjamin Fredrick was the commander in chief in the Flying Eagles backline.

Winning aerial duels and recording a good number of ball recovery, Fredrick was the cynosure of all eyes.

3. Daniel Bameyi (7/10)
Just like his defensive pair, Bameyi was strong and reliable but had his rating reduced few moments he was caught napping.

4. Njoku Augustine (8/10)
Youthful Njoku ran the right-back expertly, the energetic defender was a menace offensively and Rock-solid defensively.

5. Solomon Agbalaka (10/10)
Winning Man of the match award, Agbalaka was the hero for the Flying Eagles as he came through with a decisive goal when it mattered most.

6. Onuche Ogbelu (8/10)
Taking the place of injured Daga Daniel in the defensive midfield position, Ogbelu showed off class, winning second balls and initiating attacks to make Daniel Daga absence to be less felt.

7. Aminu Muhammad (8/10)
Marking his first start,Aminu justified his inclusion in the starting XI as he was alive to his offensive and defensive duties.

8. Samson Lawal (7/10)
Gave in a good shift in the middle of the park but had his rating reduced as the team lost control of the midfield which almost hurt the team.

9. Francis Ayuba (8/10)
Leading the front line, Ayuba gave a big fight to the opponent’s backline, holding up play for the team and causing menace with his deft touches and darting runs.

10. Rilwanu Sarki (9/10)
Playing from the flank, Sarki gave a good account of himself in the game, recorded a good number of take-ons and never failed to help the team defensively.

11. Ibrahim Muhammad (8/10)
Just like Sarki, Muhammed ran the show from the right wing expertly, the dashing winger recorded a shot at target

    Nigerian defender, Ohale Osinachi, has sent strong warnings to South Africa ahead of the Women’s Olympic FIFA World Cup play-off against South Africa later this month as she expertly commanded C.F. Pachuca Femenil backline to clinch a 4-0 win against Santos Laguna (w) on a clean-sheet in one of the fixtures played in the Mexican Femenil earlier today.

    The Super Falcons are set to take on South Africa in a two-match series, with the initial encounter slated for April 5 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

    The return leg is slated for April 9 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

    The winner of the tie will clinch one of Africa’s two tickets to the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.
