CROWNED ACADEMY TO CONDUCT OPEN SCREENING FROM 14TH -19TH OF APRIL , 2023 TO RECRUIT NEW OUTSTANDING PLAYERS TO THE ACADEMY.

Fast rising Football Academy, Crowned Football Academy has stated that it will be conducting an open screening exercise slated for 14th -19th April, 2023 at the Abesan Mini Stadium, Abesan Estate, Ipaja, Lagos.

Three of the team’s player, Orianwo Standwyn Chizezi, Oguntimehin Ezekiel and Ramadan Ayatu at various times recently trained with the Nigeria’s U-17 squad in Abuja before the team’s departure for its training camp in Germany where it will be preparing for the AFCON U-17 due for 29th April – 19th May, 2023 in Algeria.

The trio of Chizezi, Ezekiel and Ayatu would be expected alongside other players of Crowned Academy try again if the team qualifies for the U-17 global showpiece when the Golden Eaglet’s camp re-opens later in the year.

In order to recruit more exciting and young talents ahead of the plethora of programs including scouting programs it will be participating in, Crowned Academy will be organising series of recruitment and trial exercises to spot and identify young talents that will join the club and players who meet up with the selection criteria will be admitted into the team and would be expected to join the team’s camp as soon as possible.

Highly rated Nigerian striker, Attah Christain, has added another feather to his booming football career as he emerged Champion of Slovak third tier league with his side, FK Spišská Nová Ves.

The Nigerian international was pivotal to the club promotion and championship as he contributed (7) goals and went ahead to provide (10) assist to help FK Spišská Nová Ves maintain top spot till final league day.

To achieve this big feat, FK Spišská Nová Ves claimed a convincing 3-1 win over Rimavska Sobota with FK Spišská Nová Ves Nigerian import, Christain Attah playing a role in the big win.

18 goals in 46 games, the Nigerian international has been tipped for greatness with top club sides already jostling for the gangling Striker signature.

EMMANUEL OLUWASEUN DADA; IT WAS A VERY TOUGH SEASON FOR US

Emmanuel Oluwaseun Dada has stated that this past season in the Nigeria Professional Football League Season was very difficult for him and his teammates.

Wikki Tourists could only amass 19 points with only 5 wins, 4 draws and 9 losses and thus were relegated at the end of the season in Group B alongside Dakkada FC but former Al-orooba FC attacker, Emmanuel Oluwaseun who starred for Wikki Tourists in the ongoing season has stated that they gave their all and did everything to avoid been relegated but their efforts were just not enough.

When asked what is his next career move, the North York FC youth product says he might consider a return to his former club in the UAE but will also look at the several offers with him before taking a final decision.

Defensive Midfielder with relegated NPFL side, Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi John Dele Didier has stated that despite his team’s relegation from the NPFL, the experience gained by himself and the entire team will be very useful in future campaigns and they will fight to immediately return back to the elite Nigerian Premier League knows as NPFL.

In his words; “it was a very difficult season for us. We fought to secure our premiership status but at the end of the day, our efforts were enough hence we got relegated but I believe we learnt a lot of lessons in the current campaign and we will fight to return next season” concluded John Didier.
