Costa Rica Vs Nigeria: Predicted Super Eagles Starting XI

Later today, the Nigeria Super Eagles will be faced with an uphill task haven set up an international friendly tie against South America side, Costa Rica, billed to be played at the San Jose stadia by 3am, Nigerian time.

The Eagles team led by Coach Salisu Yusuf touched down Costa Rica in the early hours of Tuesday ahead of it’s big test.

Following the players who made the trip to Costa Rica for the friendly tie, here is a predicted starting XI of the Eagles.

In coach Salisu Yusuf traditional 4-4-2 Diamond, the gaffer is predicted to start up with Remo Stars goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole in between the sticks.

In the heart of the defence line, Salisu is tipped to establish a pair of Shina Akinniran and Daniel Bameyi with Evans Ogbondah and Chidiebere Nwobodo playing from the left and right back position respectively.

In the middle of the park, Abia Warriors defensive midfielder, Daniel Wotlai is most likely to provide the needed shield for the backline with Petit Remo Stars midfielder, Qudus Akanni playing in the offensive role.

Down the channels, experienced Sunday Falaye is expected to run the right hand channels with Mustapha Jibreel playing from the right channel.

In the attack, Remo Stars Edidiong Ezekiel is tipped to lead the line and to be supported by Isaiah Ejeh
