Bruno Onyemaechi was an immediate success story. In the first season in the service of Boavista, the Nigerian defender has already participated in 31 games (two goals and two more assists), being one of the main revelations of the championship. Bruno Onyemaechi is “delighted” at Bessa and also assumes that he is in the perfect club “to grow” as a player.

Focus on victory

“In global terms, the season is going well, although we all feel that, for what we have been demonstrating on the field, we deserved to have more points earned. In this regard, we can no longer do anything, and now we want to end the season well. There are still nine points to win and we will continue to do our best to get the best possible ranking.”

Permanent evolution

“I feel like I’m having a good time. I gained more experience and evolved in all aspects of my game. I am more confident and I believe this is reflected in the field. I really like the left defense position, I think that’s where I give up the most, but I will always be at the coach’s disposal to play in other positions. The truth is that this versatility is also an aspect that can benefit me, as well as the team.”

Club requirement.

“I am very grateful to Boavista for everything he has done for me. The truth is that the requirement of this club makes the players grow. We have all the conditions to focus only on the game and training, but we also feel that the requirement is daily on the part of everyone, which ends up helping us to be better. I am very happy to represent a club with such a great history.”

Fantastic fans of the fans

“The fans are fantastic, they are always by our side, they push us forward in every game, and everything we give on the field is for them. They are demanding, we feel it, and we see it as something very positive, but they also know how to recognize our effort and dedication even when the result is not the one we all wanted. They are with us in victories and defeats and that only makes us stronger.”
