MOSES TOCHUKWU ODO FLYING NIGERIA’S FLAG WITH AL-MERREIKH

Born December 11, 1997, Moses Odo is one of Nigeria’s export flying the country’s flag in a foreign country. Nigerian attackers have been enjoying fine form in recent time with the likes of Victor Osimhen topping the scoring chart in Serie A with 19 goals, Ademola Lookman 12 goals also in the Serie A while Paul Onuachu has scored 16 goals in 19 appearances in the Jupiler PRO League before joining Southampton in the EPL in the January winter transfer.

Another individual, Folarin Balogun who has links with Nigeria, although represented England at Youth level has also enjoyed fine form, notching 15 goals in 24 appearances.

In Africa, 25 years old Nigerian, Moses Tochukwu Odo plying his trade with one of Sudan’s most successful club in Sudan and one of Africa’s oldest club, Al-Merreikh SC is also one who has enjoyed a very fine form this season scoring 9 goals and 3 assists in 17 appearances.

As a result of the 25 years old performance, a number of clubs in Africa and Europe have been linked with the centre forward but the Enugu born attacker who has had stints with various clubs including El Mokawloon, El Mahalla, El Makasa, Harras Hodoud, Abia Warriors, Enugu Rangers amongst others has stated that he is bidding his time before taking a decision on his next move.

In his words, “this season has been one of the best for me, I have been having a fine form and scoring 9 goals in 17 appearances shows that I am putting my best for the club and as a result of that, a number of agents and scouts have reached out to me but for now I am focusing on helping my club, Al Merreikh SC to finish well in the league and the champions league and at the conclusion of the league season, I will decide on my next move” concluded Moses

    Nigerian defender, Ohale Osinachi, has sent strong warnings to South Africa ahead of the Women’s Olympic FIFA World Cup play-off against South Africa later this month as she expertly commanded C.F. Pachuca Femenil backline to clinch a 4-0 win against Santos Laguna (w) on a clean-sheet in one of the fixtures played in the Mexican Femenil earlier today.

    The Super Falcons are set to take on South Africa in a two-match series, with the initial encounter slated for April 5 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
