The Desert Warrior’s of Algeria continued it’s dominance over the Super Eagles of Nigeria following it’s (2-1) win against the Coach Jose Peseiro tutored side in an international friendly at the Olympic Stadium, Oran.

Goals from Desert Warriors duo of Riyad Mahrez and Youcef Atal gave the Algerians a hard fought win regardless Tereem Moffi early goal.

Below is how the Super Eagles fared during the encounter.

1. Francis Uzoho (7/10)
Cypriot based, Francis Uzoho had moments of brilliance in the game which were top notch but had his rating reduced haven been found napping which led to Youcef Atal winning goal.

2. Calvin Bassey (8/10)
Highly rated Ajax defender, Calvin Bassey, on e more showed off class in the heart of Eagles defence. Rock-solid Bassey gave a good account of himself regardless the final result.

3. Ola Aina (7/10)
Torino defender, Ola Aina, put a good shift in, especially in the first half when the Algerians vigorously placed the Eagles on the back foot.

4. Kevin Akpoguma (8/10)
An outstanding performance from Hoffeinham center back. Just like his center back pair, Calvin Bassey, Kevin kept it all solid with timely blocks and cover ups.

5. Frank Onyeka (7/10)
Frank ‘The Tank’ showed off class in the middle of the park in the first half.

Provided the needed cover for the backline and winning second balls but failed to sustain the tempo in the second quarter.

6. Zaidu Sanusi (6/10)
Defensively solid but failed to live to expectations offensively. Zaidu failed to make use of Moses Simon qualities, provided little or no balls to the Wing-wizard.

Few times he linked up with the Nantes winger, the result were evident.

7. Ademola Lookman (7/10)
Had no show time for himself. Ademola Lookman did more of tracking back for Ola Aina during the times the Algerians came strong on the Eagles backline from the right channel.

8. Moses Simon (8/10)
Regardless less fed with balls, incredible Simon worked out his salvation to keep the flank alive.

9. Alex Iwobi (8/10)
Regardless doing more of marking, Everton midfielder, Alex Iwobi gave in a good fight in the middle of the park.

Lacked the strength to track down Algerian midfield trio in their (4-3-3) formation.

10. Terem Moffi (8/10)
Got the Eagles only goal in the game. Moffi replicated a good outing in Victor Osimhen absence.

Moffi hold up play gave the team balance in the first half and showed good instinct to have scored a goal from a tight angle.

11. Kelechi Iheanacho (7/10)
Saddled with many responsibilities, Iheanacho gave a good account of himself in the early minute of the game, recording an attempt at goal but fizzled out subsequently in the game.
