Daniel Akpeyi (GK):

The Kazier Chiefs Goalkeeper arguably ranks as one of the goalkeepers in the Eagles camp who is rest assured to make it to Cameron for the AFCON owing to his amazing form in the South Africa top-flight league.

Francis Uzoho (GK)

Uzoho was the first choice in the last World Cup in Russia but went back to the bench during the last AFCON with Akpeyi opted instead.

Regardless not ranking top in the pecking order, Uzoho would surely be on the plane to the AFCON.

Leon Balogun (CB)

The Rangers Glasgow man has been unimpressive alongside his ‘Oyinbo Wall’ pair Troost-Ekong.

Down with a muscle injury, if stays fit before January his place looks ‘Certain’ regardless his poor display for the Super Eagles in recent times

William Troost-Ekong (CB)

The former Nigeria Olympics Bronze Medalist regardless his shabby display stands the chances of making it to the party tho the usual ‘Oyinbo Wall’ pair might be given a twist.

He may not have played for the team a lot in recent games, but his experience means he will be in the squad.

Chidozie Awaziem (CB/RB)

Awaziem is another player with a vast tournament experience, a utility player who can be drafted into any role.

Innocent Bonke (DM):

The Malmo FF and Swedish Allevenkan league champion stands a better chance to make it to the AFCON and one player who can give Ndidi a healthy competition.

Alex Iwobi (AM):

Not living upto expectations, the Everton man sure has a place in the team if only he stays fit before the tournament in Cameroon.

Kelechi Iheanacho (AM/SS):

Regardless not been a regular in the Leicester City team, the U17 winner bad form wouldn’t deny him a place in the Eagles squad for th AFCON.

Victor Osimhen (ST):

The former U17 World cup winner who was speculated to miss the party surprisingly made a return to training with his Italian Seria A side and in a recent tweet has declared himself avaliable for selection.

The Watford man recent form makes him undroppable for the Party in Cameroon as he ranks amongst Nigerian born and eligible strikers in Europe painting their leagues with goals.

The 24-year-old has scored seven times and registered five assists in 15 league games for Watford. It is difficult to drop a player in such form.

Samuel Chukwueze (RW):

The Villarreal CF winger has proven why he shouldn’t be left out for the party in Cameroon as he has come off the bench to net twice for his Submarines team.

Chukwueze’s trickery will be needed in the team. He is yet to hit full gear this season as he only just returned from a six-month layoff.

But he has already shown glimpses of what he is capable of with Villarreal, which is good news for Eguavoen.
