18 Super Eagles Stars To Watch Out For This Weekend

Domestic actions are set to resume this weekend across top leagues in Europe as the season enters different Match days in different leagues.

Below are the Super Eagles players who are expected to be in action for their respective clubs this weekend.

1. Sadiq Umar (Almeria, Spain)

The lethal striker who was on target in Europa league on Thursday night will look forward to continue his impressive league form when they face, Jose Mourinho, As Roma on Sunday night.

13. Samuel Chukwueze (Villareal, Spain)

After weeks on the sideline, Chukwueze announced his return to action with a goal in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Super Eagles winger and his Spanish team will continue it’s domestic duties as they trade tackles with, Athletico Bilbao.

The maiden edition of the Sporting24 Scouting/Quadrans Football Tournament commenced today, showcasing promising talents and intense competition. Three captivating matches marked the beginning of this event.

In the first encounter of the day, Sporting24 FA clashed with Jay1, securing a narrow victory with a scoreline of 2-1. Meanwhile, Dynamo Academicals FC faced off against FOOTWORK FC, with FOOTWORK FC emerging victorious with a score of 2-1. The final match of the day between SPORTING DREAMS FA and AJESTER FA ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, with football stakeholders who witnessed the match day 1 fixture rating the quality of teams on parade as good enough.

As the tournament progresses, anticipation builds for the upcoming fixtures scheduled for tomorrow. Day 2 promises to deliver even more excitement with an array of matches lined up:

Sporting24 Scouting Tournament Takes Centre Stage In Abuja Today

The inaugural edition of the Sporting24 Scouting Tournament billed for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja will hold from 2:30pm Nigerian time today with three fixtures lined up.

Sporting24 Football Academy will by 2:30pm take on Jay1 Football Academy while Dynamo Academicals will take on Footwork FC from 3:30pm.

The last match of the day will see Sport Dreams FC take on Ajester FA with the match slated for 4:30pm Nigerian time.

Tournament Director and Coordinator, Gabriel Imadonmwinyi while addressing the media ahead of the commencement of the program said “We are excited that the program will eventually start today. The turn out and the requests we got from teams across Nigeria was quite huge. We had to put in measures to screen some of the teams as we don’t want to compromise with the quality of the program and also the quality of players on parade for the program, so we had to put stringent measures and criteria to ensure that only the best of talents are paraded for the scouting program” concluded Gabriel.

The Sporting24 Scouting program is put together by Sporting24 in partnership with Quadrans football management.

TARABINA BIWERIBO ATTRACTING INTERESTS FROM EUROPEAN LEAGUE SIDES

The 18 years old centre back who is also comfortable playing as a left back has been one of the revelations in the Nigerian Premier Football League and it’s not surprising that a couple of clubs in Europe are now running the rule on him. Top on the list of clubs that have enquired about the left centre back are clubs in the Scandinavian league, with about 5 clubs both in the Superettan and Allsvenskan league showing interests for the left footed centre back.

Reacting to news of interests on him, TARABINA BIWERIBO stated that; “I am happy that I am getting recognitions from European club officials and other football stakeholders. I am actually focused on my game and on giving my very best whenever I am presented with the opportunity to represent my team. I try to worry less about activities of the field as I trust my management to handle the business off the field in the best possible way. My job is to play and for me receiving plaudits and compliments from people even propels me to do my best. I will be having a sit down with my management to decide on the next possible destination for my career. I will be 19 in a matter of weeks, so making a career move to a foreign league at this stage of my career will definitely be a good one” concluded Tarabina
