After a week break from club games, actions is set to resume this week as Stadias across many top flight league will be hosting UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa league fixtures respectively.

Nigeria Super Eagles player’s won’t be left out in the various fixture’s in the UEFA Champions League and in UEFA Europa League as they would be campaigning with their clubs.

Below are the Super Eagles stars to be on the look out for in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

1. Samuel Chukwueze (Villareal, Spain)
After 5months on the sideline, the Super Eagles wing wizard who missed the party during the International break owing to injury made a return to the field of play at the Weeknd for his Spanish side.

Fully fit Chukwueze would be action in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night as his Spanish side trade tackles with Swiss topflight league giants, Young Boys FC.

2. Innocent Bonke (Malmo FF, Sweden)
The ever present defensive midfielder, Innocent Bonke, and his Swedish side will have their hands full on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League as they go toe to toe with defending champions, Chelsea.

3. Yusuf Alhassan (Antwerp, Belgium)
The defensive Midfielder who made a return at the weekend in his side disappointing game would be in action with his Belgian side in the UEFA Europa League as they face Turkish side, Fenerbahce.

4. Henry Onyekuru (Olympiacos Piraeus, Grecce)
The dashing winger and his Greek side would be faced with an Uphill task on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League as they take a trip to Germany to lock horns with German Bundeliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt.

5. Victor Osimhen (Napoli, Italy)

The gangling striker who saved his Italian side from a looming disappointing result at the Weeknd will look forward in opening his goal account in the UEFA Europa League as they play host to Polish side, Legia Warsaw on Thursday.

6. Joe Aribo (Rangers, Scotland)
The left footed Super Eagles midfielder and his Scottish side will be in action on Thursday in the UEFA Europa league as they play host to Danish topflight league side, Brondby.

7. Calvin Bassey (Rangers, Scotland)
The Nigerian Super Eagles new boy will look forward in reclaiming his place in the starting line up after being an unused sub at the Weeknd as his side take on Danish side, Brondby on Thursday night.

8. Leon Balogun (Rangers, Scotland)
The big center will be marshalling Steven Gerrard tutored side defence line on Thursday night as they face Danish side, Brondby, in the UEFA Europa League.

9. Paul Onuachu (Genk, Belgium)

Onuachu would be on parade on Thursday night as his Belgian side takes on English premier league side, West Ham, in England in one of the fixtures lined up in the UEFA Europa League.

10. Cyril Dessers (Feyenoord, Netherland)
The Genk striker who is currently on loan with Dutch side, Feyenoord would be leading the team Frontline as they square against German side, Union Berlin on Thursday.

11. Taiwo Awoniyi (Union Berlin, Germany)
The former Nigeria Junior International will look forward to add to his goal tally in the UEFA Europa league on Thursday against Dutch giants, Feyenoord.

Highly rated Nigerian defender, Joshua Akpudje, has been listed in the Erovnuli Liga Team Of The Week following his stellar performance in FC Dinamo Tbilisi 2-0 home win over Samgurali.

Akpudje and his FC Dinamo Tbilisi side squared up against Samgurali in its first Matchday of the season hoping to start on the front foot with a victory when the two sides lock horns at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena.

The keenly contested fixture had the host, FC Dinamo Tbilisi opening scoring at the 10th minute and doubled its lead at the 32nd second goal to end the first half infront and all maximum points at full time.

Rock-solid Nigerian defender, Joshua Akpudje, who lasted for all 90mins in the fixture was a beauty to watch as he marshaled the team backline expertly to ensure a win with a clean-sheet.

Ahmed Musa Parts Ways with Sivasspor FC by Mutual Consent

In a surprising turn of events, Nigerian international Ahmed Musa has ended his stint with Turkish giants Sivasspor FC. Both parties reached a mutual agreement to terminate the player’s contract, which was announced earlier last week.

Ahmed Musa, who’s known for his blistering pace and attacking prowess, joined Sivasspor with high expectations.
