Nigeria been ranked as one Nation with most talents in the football fraternity is no exaggeration as the Country has a handful of talents, eligible to play for the Nation by birth or dual citizenship.

If these talents who has one time in their career represented another country cadet National team decides to switch allegiance to play for the Nigeria Super Eagles, the team will surely be stars studded and formidable.

In this article we will highlight 10 players who are eligible for Nigeria.

1. EBERECHI EZE (Crystal Palace, England)

Born on 29 June 1998, the 23-year-old, who was born in England by Nigerian parents, is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England.

Eze who plays as a midfielder has proven to be a an extraordinary attacking midfielder for Crystal Palace and has been a major driving force for the premier league side.

Regardless been approached by the Nigeria football federation and the English football federation, Eze however, remained undecided on which team to side to play for.

The Midfield maestro has represented England at the Under 20 and Under 21 levels, but the Nigeria national team are still optimistic that he will pick them at the biggest stage..

2. ADEMOLA LOOKMAN (Leicester City, England)

Born on 20 October 1997, 23-year-old attacker currently plays for Leicester City in the English premier league.

Ademola Lookman Olajade Alade Aylola Lookman, was born in England by Nigerian parents, making him eligible to play for England and Nigeria national teams.

Though has represented England at the under-19 and Under-21 levels, Lookman has currently indicated intrest to play for the Nigeria National team and will be making his debut in the colours of the Nigeria National team soonest.


Born on 9th October 1995, the 26 years old striker who has been on the country radar is a wing wizard who currently plies his trade in Greece with Greek giants, POAK Thessaloniki.

Tho has represented England at the youth level and at the U-21 stage as well the winger is eligible to play for Nigeria as he is born by Nigerian immigrants in England.

4. JORDAN TORUNARIGA (Herta Berlin, Germany)

Born on 7 August 1997, 23-year-old Jordan Torunariga is a center-back who currently plays for Hertha BSC in the German Bundeliga.

The big defender was born in Germany to a Nigerian father, Ojokojo Torunarigha, a former super eagles footballer. His paternal roots make him eligible to play Nigeria national.

5. NATHAN TELLA (Southampton, England)

Born on 5 June 1999, 21-year-old Nathan Adewale Temitayo Tella is a highly rated midfielder who plies his trade with English based outfit, Southampton.
The rising star was born in England to Nigerian parents, making him eligible to play for both England and the Nigeria national teams.


Born on 21 August 1996, 24-year-old winger, Joel Noah, is one of the few foreign-born eligible Nigerian players that has been approached by the Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr to represent his father’s national team.

He could also play for Germany due to his mother linkage, but the Squad depth of the European giants has not been so enticing for the raw talent.

7.TOSIN ADARABIOYO (Fulham, England)

Born on 24 September 1997, Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Oluwadoyinsolami Adarabioyo, is a centre-back who plies his trade with English Championship outfit, Fulham.
The tall centre-back was born in England to Nigerian parents, making him eligible to play for England and the Nigeria national teams.

Tosin has represented England in the under-16, under-17, and under-18 levels but he is still eligible to play for the Nigerian national team.

8. OVIE EJARIA (Reading, England)

Born on 18 December, Oviemuno Dominic Ejaria is an attacking midfielder who plays for English second tier league side, Reading FC.

Oviemuno Dominic Ejaria was born in England to Nigerian parents, making him eligible to play for England and Nigeria national teams.

9. NONI MADUEKE (PSV, Netherland)

Born 10 match 2002, Chukwunonso “Noni” Tristan Madueke is a 19-year-old midfielder who plays for Dutch Eredivisie outfit, PSV.

He was born in England to Nigerian Parents making him eligible to play for England and Nigeria national teams.

10. SHEYI OJO (Liverpool, England)

Born on 19 June 1997, Oluwaseyi Babajide “Sheyi” Ojois is a 24-year-old winger who currently signed with Liverpool Football Club.

The Nigerian native was born in England, making him eligible to play for the England and Nigeria national teams.

Weekend Review: Fourteen (14) Nigeria Stars Who Found Back Of Net



Actions resumed across top European, Asian and Scandevian leagues as teams continued their quest for domestic glory in their various leagues.

In over a thousand games played across top leagues at the weekend, Nigerian players were outstanding with their various clubsides and here are (14) Nigerian stars who found back of the net at the weekend in review.

1. Abdulrazak Ishaq (BK Hacken, Sweden)

Golden boy came off the bench to kill off the game for BK Hacken as his second half goal doubled the team lead and earned the team a 2-0 win at full time.

2. Adediran Quadri (Banik Ostrava, Czech Republic)

The Nigerian wing-wizard scored his first goal for Banik Ostrava as his side cruised to a big win away from home.

3. Ade Oguns (Wydad Athletic Club, Morocco)

The sensational goal scorer was the hero for WAC as his solitary goal earned the team a 1-0 win over Berkane in Botola League.

4. Victor Olatunji (Sparta Prague, Czech Republic)

The towering forward recorded a goal and an assist to help Sparta Prague subdue Zlin away from home on a 2-1 scoreline.

5. Ihezuo Chinwendu (Pachuca, Mexico)

‘Unstoppable Ihezuo fired in a brace in Pachuca big win in the Mexican Femenil.

6. Ifeagwu Ojukwu (Chittagong Abahani, Bangladesh)

Ifeagwu Ojukwu returned in his scoring element at the weekend to score a brace to help his side secure a point in a 2-2 draw and still carted away MOTM award for the third time in a row.

7. Francis Momoh (Grasshoppers Zurich, Switzerland)

Momoh was the tormented in chief of FC Basel defenders as he scored his side first goal in their 2-1 win over Basel.

8. Iwuala Anayo (Al-Arabi, Kuwait)

Iwuala opened the flood gate of goals to inspire Al-Arabi 6-3 win over Al Naser.

9. Eduwo Kingsley (Club Africain, Tunisia)

Eduwo fired in a brace in Club Africain 3-0 win in a keenly contested club friendly fixture.

10. Adeniyi James (Hapoel Hadera, Israel)

The ‘invisible’ forward registered his first Hapoel Hadera goal as the team earned all maximum points at stake.

11. Henry Onyekuru (Al-Fayha, Saudi Arabia)

The Nigeria International forward registered a brace in Al-Fayha 3-0 win.

12. Tony Nwakaeme (Al-Fayha, Saudi Arabia)

Nwakaeme registered a goal and an assist as Al-Fayha cruised to another big win.

13. Ohi Omoijuanfo (Brondby, Denmark)

The Nigerian-Norwegian forward scored Brondby only goal and only goal in the game in their win over FC Midtjylland.

14. Kadiri Attah (Francis Borains, Belgium)

Another game, Another goal for Kadiri Attah as his side cruised to a 2-1 win.

15. Abdullahi Ahmed (Jong Gent, Belgium)

The Nigeria Under-20 ace recorded a goal and an assist in his side 2-2 stalemate.

It was ‘tea time’ at the weekend as Genk stole a 3-1 win over RWDM.

Official: Top Talent Efe Kegbe Joins Eliteserien Side Lillestrøm SK



Norwegian Eliteserien League side, Lillestrom SK, has completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian forward, Efe Kegbe, from FC One Rocket.

Efe Kegbe who started his professional football career in Nigeria enjoyed stint with Nigeria National League side, FC One Rocket, where he shone like a million stars in the NNL league which brought him to limelight.

Efe Kegbe talent was given a chance to showcases his talent in the Norway with Norwegian Eliteserien league side, Lillestrom SK, and impressed which landed him a deal with the Norwegian based side.

Signing on a Five-Year deal, Efe Kegbe is primed to follow the footsteps of fellow compatriot trio of Igoh Ogbu, Ifeanyi Mathew and Akor Adams who plied their trade with the Norwegian before moving to join Slavia Praha, Montepellier and FC Zurich respectively.

Speaking after his unveiling, Efe Kegbe expressed his delight to pen a deal with Lillestrom a club he has been following whilst in Nigeria and is excited to don the jersey of the top club side.

The deal which was concluded by both parties yesterday was brokered by topmost Nigerian Agent, Attah Aneke of the Players Management Group

Official: Nigeria Under-17 Ace Ebube Okere Joins Turkish Side Boluspor



Turkish TFF First League side, Boluspor, has completed the transfer of highly rated Nigeria Under-17 ace, Ebube Wisdom Okere, from Nigerian based side, Ofirima Football Club.

Started his football career with Ofirima Football, Ebube Wisdom Okere, exciting development earned him a call-up to the Nigeria Under-17 team where he his immense talent made his stand-out in back to back games with the Nigeria Golden Eaglets in WAFU Cup.

Golden fish has no hiding place, Wisdom Ebube Okere, five-star performance with the Nigeria Under-17 team during the WAFU Cup had him on top radar of top European and Scandevia leagues jostling for his signature.

To continue his development, the Nigeria youngster opts for Turkish side, Boluspor, where his tipped to have a quick impact in the stars studded Boluspor side.
